After IflyHA made an entire thread to discuss and give our favourite livery ideas to NG for their 737-800, I thought why not have a 787-9 one?
Now I know these threads come with some backlash from certain members, but I'm pretty much going to send you over to his thread for his reasons as they are pretty much the same as mine for doing so, if you don't like it then, well, not my problem.
Hopefully, we will see the return of their 787-9 mould next month after a lengthy hiatus. Heres my favourite one's id like producing;
TUI 787-9
El Al retro 787-9
Etihad 787-9 'F1' livery
Westjet 787-9
Air New Zealand 787-9 'All Blacks'
There are others like Etihad standard livery and Virgin Atlantic but I didn't want it to be too heavy in pictures
Considering NG nailed the Yam Dreaming this feels necessary. Also some of these may have been done by either them or others but I can't remember every 789 release
I just love Etihad. Brilliant livery. My second favourite. (Hawaiian)
I may be interested in that as well although I do have the JCW/Gemini 787-10 Etihad. It looks pretty good overall although lacks one antenna and has the plastic tail planes. JCW 787s have all the antennas, but have also switched to plastic tail planes with recent releases. Otherwise it looks like it would've been a toss up between the JCW and NG Model. Now NG is certainly the clear winner.
A United would be okay as well, but we do have the nice Gemini -10, which again, doesn't have the bottom antenna and plastic tail planes but looks decent enough. If you look hard enough you can find the old Pheonix mould 787-8 United by Gemini Jets. NG would be a step up and a 787-9 is different but there are still decent options for those the United livery. For American you really just have the old Gemini cradle mould.
And to a lesser extend I think Etihad, KLM, Vietnam and Air Canada (ice blue) would be interesting.
For KLM I am more interested in the 100 year 787-10 though.

Might as well bring this thread back that already has models listed, instead of encouraging repetitive creation of threads on the exact same topic.
I would be interested in a WestJet 789. Both Gemini and Aeroclassics have gotten the airline's new-livery blue-green color too blue so far. Phoenix got it green enough but too dark. If anyone is going to get the color right, it would be NG. I think the photo is C-GURP.
A Norwegian 789 would be welcome, too. I'll vote for LN-LNR, Freddie Mercury.

How is the NG 787-9 mould? Compared to the others on the market now?
It is easily superior to the Gemini and Phoenix offerings, but it isn't faultless and arguably is either inferior to or slightly better than the JC Wings mould depending on how you slice it. Certainly the maingear is a bit too tall so it has a slight nose down attitude.
