Default Some inspiration for NG

We still need a decent 727 (got the JAT and Alitalia 727s from Aeroclassics - they have some issues with the mid exhaust due to the shape of the rear fuselage) and MD-80series (GJ makes less use of their mould) 1/400.... just think of the peossibilities...

Totally agree, especially having a new Boeing 727-100 mould since the AC's is defunct and no longer available and GJ seems to have no interest in using theirs.

Ha, I mentioned the 727-100 / 200 several times awhile back to NG and they gave me the rolling eyes emoji, but this aircraft truly does deserve a definitive mould, also just happens to be my all time favorite plane ever built. Maybe one day, but not holding my breath..... sigh

The 727-100 and 200 would be awesome. Especially the -100..I'd love to see the pink/red AeroPeru 727-100 along with a Taesa 727-100 not to mention all the Cargo Carriers (Emery, DHL, and numerous South American Cargo Carriers). The 727 is such a classic airplane and if NG came out with the 100/200, that would be truly amazing.

I'll echo the sentiment on here, and say I'd love a new 727-100 / 727-200. That said, I imagine it's quite low-priority - if it's even on NG's radar, at all. I would guess that it's not.

GJ actually does pretty excellent 727-200's. It'd be great to see them use theirs more, beyond the last few utter nonsense releases they've done.

So many possibilities if NG (or AC) decide to go for an MD-80. The GJ mould is pretty good after a few revisions, but they haven't been real adventurous and I can't see that changing. Some Midwest MD-80s would be great to round out their fleet of T-tails

The good thing is NG also seems to care about minor carriers/hybrids - so a MD-80 by NG would make my day...

I do see them doing a MD-80 over the 727, but both would be more than welcome !! The Super 80 really is a hole in the overall collecting fleet. But I see them doing more modern planes for awhile once the 757-300 is eventually released, hopefully they prove me wrong !! With that said, the 727 will always be my all time favorite aircraft.

Has NG confirmed they're working on a 757-300? It would be a logical addition to their lineup since it's just a simple stretch.

Yes, they have.

Seen in this thread, post# 886: https://www.diecastaircraftforum.com...ml#post2654138

"Yes, the 757-300 is expected to launch early-middle next year."

Awesome, thanks for the info, somehow I must have missed that. Based on the timeline, would guess we'll see releases in the next few months then.

European Collector--not sure if you've been following the other threads, but the 727 and MD-80 are much-discussed and wanted. Great minds think alike.

--I do wish AC would fix up the nozzle on their 727-200, and maybe lengthen the rear gear a bit. But otherwise I'm happy with that mould.
--A new 727-100 is needed, since as Goose noted AC's mould apparently is no longer available--I guess defunct means worn out? If Gemini's is still around their mostly 'high volume' philosophy means it's likely to see little use.
--I would put a set of 747 classics--100/200, 300, and SP--as far and away the highest priority.
--...but, the MD-80 is a close second.

Thank you, NG, for hearing us! I've been in the hobby awhile. I'm used to waiting for good products, and you all have certainly rewarded our patience so far.

Thank you NG, I'm sure our patience will be rewarded! A Midwest MD-80 is right up there with a Delta 75H config 757-200 for the holiest grails of models I'd love to see. The fact that they are actually a possibility at some point is incredible, and it's been fun seeing so many other models that collectors never would have thought possible coming to fruition.

As long as the mould is top notch, I would be interested in just about anything made, same goes for the 727 as well. (albeit anything late 70’s onward). ToddCB

I personally would like to see how ng did with the a320. I believe personally that panda are the only company with a good a320 mould. Aeroclassics mould was good for many years but the landing gear is now out of date and needs some desperate attention and has no antennas which at this point in 2019, all models being produced need to have antennas. Personally, I would like to see some more Brussels airlines as they have so many amazing liveries.

I would buy all of these in a heartbeat.
I have the SN Rackham from AC, but the colours are way off.
So if someone could reissue this with the right colours….

So many from the MD-80 need to be made. These three for sure. Add PSA to this trio as well.
