Already seeing some of the Lochness ones on the secondary market...will they regret selling them? I guess we will see soon! Let the games begin!

I'll speculate that is G-NPTB in West Atlantic regular livery.
G-NPTA is already done with "1st -800" on the tail. G-NPTC & D are in FedEx livery.

Happy Dragon Boat Festival. I always enjoyed watching the races when I lived in Hong Kong.

Really hope VH-XXX is Qantas Yananyi dreaming. I assume we will see the Herpa version popping up on ebay very soon for ridiculous prices!

Very much looking forward to the photographs, but I will almost certainly be buying the BA L1011-500.

The Hawaiian livery is very nice too. I would be very happy if you do a limited run of an Air Atlanta Icelandic in this livery.

Another benchmark month from NG. Can't wait to see pictures of the complete product and for some, in the flesh. I count at least 7 I plan on getting.

Fantastic line up, and at last the Tristars are here. I'll be after that BA Landor for sure whilst eagerly anticipating the Negus variants to come. Happy days and so glad to see this mould that came to fruition largely via a pro-active discussion and contributions on DAC.

Very nice set of releases NG, will definitely be getting the American A330 and maybe the Aeroflot, looks likes most of my guesses were right (not to toot my own horn of course)

Wheres the VH-XXX or the B-XXX release? there's no pictures or mention of them in the model rundown?

Its also nice to see ng models listening to what their customers want. Alot of people asked for the American a330 and the jet2 a330 and ng saw that and delivered on it. As long as ng keep listening to their customers requests, I will continue to buy from them 👍👍

Just a quick observation, the antenna on top of the west Atlantic is red and on the release photo its white.

Definitely the Air Berlin for me, be interesting to see their Tristar 500 in the flesh. Not really happy with either of the GJ or AC versions at the mo, so will wait to see NG's offering before committing.

Three HAWAIIAN L1011s holy moly Batman. I have waited years for a good representation to come to market, and now we have both Aeroclassics and NG. Will be interesting to compare the two, but I already have a good idea which will be best.

Will wait for photos to see how the American fuselage colors turn out first.

The Delta CRJ is an odd choice in livery (for me). Thought we would get the so-called interim livery, but this looks like a widget livery CRJ. I don't think I've ever seen one in person. I must not have been flying much when these were around? Anyone have any insight as to when this livery was in service on CRJs?

Hopefully the American Airlines A330 will prove successful enough to warrant a matching 757 release later on.

Yep, Hawaiian N765BE and British Airways G-BLUS for me. NG might want to check the Royal Mail logo on the artwork for G-BLUS - it reads 'BR' under the crown - it should read 'ER' (with a tiny Roman Numeral II in between the 'E' and the 'R'), a very minor misprint there, although it will be so tiny on the model that it'll hardly notice most probably anyway.

The VH is visible on Waffle's site and is the Qantas 737-838W VH-VXJ in the regular 1984-2007 colours*. IIRC they only repainted the last of these last year so this scheme was visible everywhere in Oz for many, many years.
Funnily enough the Australian collectorate had pleaded with GJ, PH etc for many many years to get this one made too. Yet all it took was one suggestion to NG and a few months later... Thank you NG!

*No sign yet of the Yananyi Dreaming that NG previously hinted at though. That would be very popular here in Oz as the old Herpa release is impossible to find nowadays. Eh, perhaps next month!
P.S. the B reg model is a Cathay Pacific A333.

I'm stoked about this one since it's a "flown on" example for me. There were still some Comair CRJ's in this livery in 2003.

2003 was the year I really started traveling a lot. Flew through CVG a lot (back when it was a major hub), but I don't remember seeing any CRJs in this widget livery. Good to see someone is stoked to see this model released.

Looks awesome. Not sure if it was lost in the rendering, but I just want to point out that the cockpit windows on the Swiss A330 should be framed.

Well they had 3 different liveries going at that point too - widget, Ron Allen, and Deltaflot all at the same time. The regionals were even slower to repaint than DL mainline.

Jeez, this is confusing.
The BA Tristar is G-Blus which is the shorter dash 500 as depicted. But others are dash 100's

AC's BA is a Dash-100.

So are we going to see all BA types from NG?
So I can 'low ACs offerings?

The Aeroflot B738 is very tempting.. Like someone else said, first wait till I see some pictures of the L-1011 but I think they will have a marvelous mold.. Hoping for a ROYAL JORDANIAN L-1011 one day..

Thanks for the heads up regarding the Qantas release. Not sure why they left it out of the announcement on here. VH-VXJ will be joining my Qantas 1980s fleet. I’m pretty sure we will see Yananyi dreaming by the end of the year though.

Here we go. ER is the abbreviation of 'Elizabeth Regina' the formal name of the reigning British monarch, and 'II' denotes the fact she is Queen Elizabeth the 2nd.

Very welcome - and Big Al provided the perfect reference shot for the correction. Thanks for making the effort to correct such a tiny detail.

Me too! Very pleased that we now have a -100 and -500 series in BA Landor livery from both manufacturers. Hopefully a BA Negus -500 will follow?

Yes, Yananyi dreaming is really beautiful and attractive. However, the production will be very complicated. Our engineers estimate that it will take three times the amount of work to complete, and we worry that the price will rise significantly. So, do or not, it’s a question.

I would pay the price to be able to replace the Herpa version which is a terrible mould.

YES!!!! Do it, we will understand if it costs more. As long as it’s not as much as is the ebay sellers are asking for the Herpa version

That would be a beautiful model. I'd pay the additional cost too!

So now that we have the release list, roughly when can we expect to see some actual photos? Does that take place in a few weeks typically? Dying to see the L1011 pictures.

Bear in mind that photo you have selected is of the aircraft quite late in its career after the colours were really starting to fade. When new it looked much brighter.
A history of the aircraft and many photos covering pretty much all angles throughout its career can be found HERE. Warning, the page linked to is photo heavy and may cause issues for some connections.
It is a complicated livery true, up to you if you think it will be worthwhile to produce.
