Nice to see this video review. Many collectors have slagged the mould off as being very poor. Okay the ailerons and flaps are not defined and the antennae is the size of a coat hangar, but the overall shape is pretty good and it looks like a Carvair and not made by anyone else. JC Wings have made several of these and I have them all, my favourite being Aer Lingus.

The missing B.707s still needed to be done in 1/400: Ethiopian, Uganda Airlines, Air Zimbabwe (rainbow scheme), Kenya Airways, Air Niugini.

DC-8s still needed to be done in 1/400: UAT, Iberia ('80s scheme), Air Ceylon, Surinam Airways, Air Spain

Aeroclassics Comets still missing- Dan Air (4 & 4C), United Arab Airlines/Misrair/Egyptair, Kuwait AW, Sudan AW, East African AW, Saudi Royal Flt.

I'd love to add that one to my Aer Lingus collection eventually...

Yes, I wish they would re do the model with defined, flaps, Ailerons, elevators and rudder. I love having unique planes in my collection as well.

I think its certainly acceptable, I have one.
Like to have an example (or a 100 if 707s) of every airliner made.

Nice! They do come up on E. Bay occasionally. Strange but they also make this model in 1/500 and 1/200 scales, but the shape is not so good.

Personally I think it’s an awful mould for a number of reasons but I still have three or four of them so more fool me. As Adrian says it does look like a Carvair but only because it could hardly be anything else.

It's more like a caricature of the real thing than a miniature replica!
