1) Surinam Airways--They operated the stretch DC-8-63. I would prefer to see a model of Surinam's fantastic colorful livery on that version of the DC-8 rather than the shorter versions. The stretch DC-8's are the granddaddy of narrowbodies, like a jumbo jet before jumbos. I for one prefer models of the stretch DC-8's over the shorter versions, when a carrier flew them. Better yet, do both.
Each to his own, Jim, and agreed better to do both as I HATE the stretched DC-8s as they are just like pencils with wings and only perpetuated from the original and classic DC-8, of which the shape is a true classic and stands alongside the 707 which never get stretched!

Personally I loved the profile of the 707-320B/C, it looked perfectly proportioned.
Amazing that the super DC-8 was so sound structurally when it looked so brittle and skinny.
I only ever saw the Surinam SDC-8 PH-DEM at Heathrow with tiny "leased from KLM" titles, not sure if it was actually back operating for KLM, or Surinam.
But it was one of the most striking and colourful schemes I saw at Heathrow back in the day and it would make a superb model.

727s for Air Canada delivery, CP Air delivery, and Wardair. Maybe Western Flying W, which was a frequent visitor to Western Canada
DC 10 in CP Air delivery
Thanks!
All of these have been made and aren't enormously difficult to find second-hand.
Is their some rule againt re-issuing? Many new collectors have come to the hobby since their first releases - I'd suggest these classic delivery liveries would be hugely popular in Canada.

Aeroclassics probably re-issues more than others, but in general once something has been made, it's pretty rare to see it done again. I think most posters here prefer to see new subjects made rather than using resources to make the same thing again, particularly if, as Richard notes, they are not that hard to find on Ebay or other secondhand markets. That would tend to indicate that the market for that release is pretty much saturated and may not be as popular for the manufacturer to try to sell again as you'd think.

The stretch DC-8 looks elegant and stately to me. United's Blue-Star and Bass liveries both looked fantastic on it. And the aircraft survived in passenger service long into the jumbo-jet era, probably due to the economics of its higher capacity. I remember even seeing a Delta stretch DC-8 at Newark in January 1987.

Actually, some of the models in question may not be available for reasonable prices. A check of EBay right now shows the cheapest 1:400 CP Air DC-10 for over $80 including shipping, and the cheapest 1:400 CP Air 727 about $95 including shipping. So there may be more of a market for reissue than we think.
I've long been convinced that a good number of Aeroclassics DC-10's--like the aggravatingly hard to find and usually very expensive Swissair delivery colors DC-10--could likely be profitably reissued with small runs. There are are indeed new people in the hobby. And, some of us established collectors have holes in our collections that we would like to fill for reasonable, not very high, cost.

If you ever sat in the back of one in turbulence, it was amazing - you could see the seats towards the front of the plane twisting to the right as yours twisted to the left. I always had fun pointing that out to people that looked nervous

I seem to remember reading that Donald Douglas liked over-engineering. Guess that made the exciting ride of the DC-8-61/ 63 safe.
One of my hopes for Aeroclassics this year is seeing what they make on their L-1011 mould. So many great classics to do.

Quite agree Jim, Aeroclassics Caravelles rarely come up on E. Bay, which indicates they have sold well. However, I take E. Bay prices with a pinch of salt as there are a lot of greedy sellers on there that think they can make double what they paid for their models and happily list and relist their models until they catch some desperate mug willing to pay their price! If they listed their starting price at what they paid for their model, E. Bay would determine the price as it would encourage bidders and they may achieve that anyway!

Well I missed out on that experience!!
It would be great to see the L-1011 in AC's lineup. Hopefully not too much longer to wait. Let's start with some early delivery Easterns (avoiding N310EA of course), and some colourful PSAs!

Models I want to see in 1/400:
Boeing 737-300 Condor (grey), Boeing 737-500 Air France, Boeing 747-200B SAA (white belly), Boeing 767-300ER LTU süd
Aeromexico 767-200 and 757 in delivery color scheme -with titles on the tail.
More Mexicana 727s and A320s with the colorful tails from early 90s. Why not start with a Mitla pink and purple and a Talavera yellow and blue 727? It would not be needed to start from zero I guess, since both designs have already been applied to a pair of DC-10s, and the Talavera in an A320 too.
Then perhaps someday, new schemes/colors not previously used on any type.
Also I really want a Continental 727-200 with red meatball and large titles since I guess nobody has done it -large titles-, or am I wrong? I only recall the red meatball with small titles from GJ, or the black meatball from AC.
Sun Country 727 as others have requested, and Eastern bare metal and Delta widget with the whole black nose, not just the tip. I guess only GJ has done it, but with hushkits -I never liked hushkits, and as a part of a set of three.
TAESA, Ladeco, Avianca, ATA 757s, and Avianca and Lan Chile 767-200.
PLUNA 707.
And since AC likes to make some very obscure airlines, I would like to see an Aerocancun A310, maybe one day, but that's not a top priority for me.
Earth Wind & Fire Vickers Viscount. Used to see it parked at FLL next to the FBO I flew out of in the 1970s.
I heard their sequined costumes were so expensive they had to take out earth, wind and fire and theft insurance ! But yeah, let's see a collection of 'Aeroclassic Rocks' brought to market.

Hawaiian Airlines DC-10-10 and DC-10-30. I am honestly surprised that these polished beauties have not been done on the superior AC Mould yet. AC doesn't shy away from Hawaiian releases, so I would love to have this be the year I finally see it.

Reason: 'mostly' LGW
I’d suggest that if you want your suggestions to be taken seriously, don’t list north of 100 of them.
On a financial basis alone, one could call your bluff and say “put your money where your mouth is”. Assuming you bought one of everything you suggested, a ballpark estimate on your request list, accounting for retail prices, shipping, etc... clocks in at a cool $5,000 USD. You don’t find a $5,000 dollar request, at all, unreasonable??
Transpac787 - Andrew has stated he is actively looking for suggestions, so I've taken the time to provide a list (all of which I'd buy if they came to light), and many of which might be of interest to others i suspect, in which case they can speak up or otherwise. The potential cost is really not the point, but rather generating the ideas - and I would take all of these models if made to fill my 1990's LGW diorama, joining the others already there. Voila....reasonable IMHO.
Suggestions for 727-200's, in addition to the Republic Mary Tyler Moore I mentioned earlier. All USA 80's Deregulation classics. First is People Express; second is Continental in the People-hybrid livery. Third is Air Atlanta, who operated the 727-200; Flickr only had pictures of their 727-100's with the titles showing. Keeping to not more than three suggestions per posting.

For the 737-200, two USA 1990's Deregulation low-fare classics, plus a Canadian frontier classic in its 00's colors.
--AirTran was the Orlando-based Allegiant-like carrier that flew to smaller markets and was bought by ValuJet in part for its name.
--Vanguard was a low-fare carrier flying from Kansas City and Chicago Midway.
--First Air still links Canada's Arctic north to bigger cities.

I can't remember where I saw a Vanguard airliner in person, but I do remember seeing one. DIMA database shows not a single Vanguard model in any scale has been done. According to Wikipedia, their fleet was pretty small, so I guess not many people on this forum have had exposure to Vanguard as a result.

They flew to Austin when I lived there in the early 2000's, so I have some memories of them from that. But they didn't last terribly long. Wiki says 1994-2002 but I don't think they came to Austin until 2000 at the earliest. I only ever saw their 732's. I'd pick one up if AC released it.

As far as I'm aware, there are no current AC moulds for B721, B731 or B733.
Wikipedia shows People Express having flown five 737-200's, and Airliners.net shows one, a 737-217 that had flown for CP Air. So there appears to be a way to do a People 737.
Now, for DC-9-30's. This time, USA 1980's-2000 Deregulation classics.
--No one, as far as I know, has done Midwest Express's original 1980's livery on a DC-9-30. AC did a first-gen DC-9-10, but the others have been the 90's livery.
--Valujet deserves to be done on AC's mould.
--Legend Airlines was a fun, short-lived (2000-2001) attempt to get around the Wright Amendment at Dallas Love Field.

Vanguard would be a great choice and that scheme isn't the only one. Towards the end of their time they painted each aircraft in its own colour scheme variant of this scheme:
