Default Jcw cx asia world city b777

To keep my diecast addiction balanced I picked this 1/400 CX beauty up this past week...I don't usually search out any JC Wings releases as there are usually better versions from the other mfr's but I was intrigued by the "flaps down/flaps up" concept for these molds....I like it! And to add leading edge as well, very impressive (IMHO)!

I usually steer clear of JC too however might also take the plunge on this one looking at your pictures. Looks like they’ve done a fine job with the flap detail. Not easy to get the shape correct. Would display well on a stand to put it a into ‘context’. Thanks for sharing

Where did you purchase this from? I can't find it on any of the normal retailers; there's a few on eBay for high prices, but none are the flaps down version.

Blimey guys JC may take an age to release their models but when it comes to 777s and 787s of all kinds they are difficult to beat. They certainly kick Gemini Jets and Phoenix into touch. There are no better 777s in 1:400 scale.

The only JC Wings worth avoiding are the A320 series and depending on your opinion the A350s too.

I reviewed this model last August and it is bloody good:

You'll struggle to find this outside taobao now as a) it isn't a new release and b) Cathay has threatened all the retailers in the West with legal action if they sell their models
