Default 757ís for NG to make in the future?

Hi all,

First time poster long time lurker and collector! Love the forum.

Havenít seen these mentioned on the forum before (may have missed them so apologies if I have), but maybe NG could consider making some of the below in the future? Iím sure there would be many collectors who would like these. There are so many hybrids from Airtours/MyTravel that could be made.

Quick message to NG absolutely loving your releases, and thanks for getting me back into a hobby I had lost a bit of love for! (Although not good for my wallet 😂&#128514

Do they belong to the same company?

Hi,

The company started off as Airtours, then became MyTravel, who then merged with Thomas Cook who’s name they took so they no longer exist

Okay, I wonder if there are other collectors who want to get these models?

I would be interested in the 2 main Airtours liveries.

As well as the different tail logos, the original (1991) and revised (1996) liveries also had different titles. The original livery (the one with the blue 'A' logo on the tail that the MD80s and B767s also wore) had longer, more stretched titles. When the tail logo was revised around 1996 when the first A320s were delivered, the Airtours titles were also revised.

As well as these, I'd also like to see the 1980s original liveries of Air 2000, Inter European, Hispania, Monarch, LTS and Air Holland.

Odyssey International would be nice too, although perhaps Aeroclassics is more likely to produce that.

Both 2 were mentioned by many people many times, so should be done soon, maybe you will see them in March release.

Fantastic, canít wait, thank you!

Personally Iíd like number 2, 5 and 7 (all MyTravel) to be made first, I flew on number 5 in that scheme, though I appreciate most would probably prefer the Airtours (number 4 and 6) to be made over 5 and 7. Thanks for asking

I suggest the original and revised Airtours standard liveries. Respectively, G-LCRC and G-PIDS would be my suggested registrations.

Based on the revised Airtours livery, it would also make sense to do a limited run of the hybrid MyTravel livery (last photo above), with the logo on the forward fuselage. G-MCEA may be better, as it had both the fuselage logo and the 'MY' logo on the tail (not pictured above).

I also think the standard, full livery MyTravel (orange/white) would also be a popular standard release.

Since none of these were made in 400 scale (only the City of Manila was made by Herpa in 1:200 and 1:500 scale), I would be more than happy to see these in NG’s excellent mould.

RP-C2714 City of Manila

RP-C2716 Standard corporate eagle with the tail logo on the right size (2715 had the DC9 tail size applied)

Recent releases haven't lacked for Euro vacation-carrier 757's. NG has listed what they're doing for March and April. N-reg's start returning in these months. Looking ahead to May, June, and beyond in 757's, some more classic early-user N-reg's would be welcome, too.

For reference: from the NG Models March and April thread, here's the list NG gave for what they're doing in March and April. Reply no. 154.

https://www.diecastaircraftforum.com...-2019-a-4.html

Some aircraft not on this list to suggest for future months:

TWA B757-2Q8 N706TW BCN 28/03/1999
by Jordi Grife, on Flickr

American Airlines early 757 *without* winglets.

223ha - American Airlines Boeing 757-223; [email protected];17.04.2003
by Aero Icarus, on Flickr

The "USAir" listing presumably doesn't mean US Airways, including the snazzy 1997 Darth Vader livery.

I'd love to see a United 757 in the current livery with the Scimitar winglets, Delta 757 in the current livery with winglets would be great too!

2019 will be very expensive for me. N 757s start returning in these two months, and I'll probably buy most, possibly every single L-1011.

The JMC 757 was my first 757 flight so would like that one too. JMC was the precursor of Thomas Cook.

I recommended B757-200 Greenlandair OY-GRL already. It was the age before Greenlandair has been rebranded as Air Greenland. However, I know, I would be the only one who is interested in it.

I will cerntainly be happy about the release of the only red plane of Air Greenland, which is more required.

Not the only one, I'd take both.

I'd also love Continental and AA with no winglets, and a UA Battleship.

I will cerntainly be happy about the release of only red plane of Air Greenland, which is more required.

Very pretty model! Are you considering doing other Monarch colours such as the pre-bankruptcy Monarch.co.uk titles and Monarch titles?

Does it also mean that this model is a possible release next month?!
