For one, more MD-11's in liveries not covered so far ( have to admit their new refined MD-11 is spot on and I challenge anyone to counter this). Despite GJ not being consistent! I'd also like to see more of their classic 74's as well on their revised mould ( AA as an example). Again I think this together with their MD-11 is awesomely done!!

In general, model manufacturers should concentrate on their specialties, especially things they do very well. We know Gemini will pump out all the A380's and 777's they can produce. So for classics, Gemini should concentrate on:

--Soviet moulds. As others have noted, the IL-62. Here are a couple I want to see:

--Classic Regional Aircraft. Gemini has CV-580, Shorts 360, and Dash-8 moulds.

And, yes, since Gemini makes high-volume current-day major jumbos, a Lufthansa 747-8 in the new bland colors would be good. I keep a representative of major carriers' current livery. For Lufthansa, I'd want the last version of the Queen of the Skies.

Ever since they released the recent Mexican Police 727-200, it gave me *some* hope that the mould might be brought back, but I suspect it probably won't. Still, the United saul bass scheme is one of the timeless classics, that always seems to manage to sell out.

So, a 727-200 would probably be the top of my list. Would also love to see a re-release of the 747SP on the much-improved mould, or a 747-100.

I realize all three of these have a particularly slim-to-nil chance of ever being released. But hey, one can hope. Maybe competitive pressures and the evolving market make them reevaluate their product release strategy.

Would also love to see them release any classic MD80's. If I had to guess, we'll probably just see more of the usual Delta and American, especially as we near the retirement for the type from both airlines.

That said, both the TWA and the PSA were released on the 1/200 side. One can always hope they find their way into a 1/400 release.

Seconded - the original release ones are exorbitant on Ebay.

Have to plug this one from my sig:

And this as well:

I would also go for the interesting IL-62's already posted, particularly the Gambia one, that's way cool.

Their 400 releases so very often mirror the 200 releases, and vice versa. I'd say look no further than this:

Bingo!

But all snark aside...

TWA B-757-200 (since the other guys haven't expressed any interest in it)
TWA-MD-80 (twin stripe and final)
Frontier Horizon 727-100
Presidential Airways 737-200 (I can dream...)
Midway Airlines Mk.2 F-100, CRJ, B-737-700

Gotta say, the Simmons Shorts 360 is tempting. And the Business Express too. Good call.

Since GJ is the only one having an underused 727-100 mould (correct me if I'm wrong) I would like to see TF-FIE Icelandair 727-100 in original livery.

Otherwise I could be happy to Icelandair B737 Max8 TF-ICN (delivered yesterday) or TF-ICA (coming delivery). Saw a test flight yesterday on Flightradar24 flying over BFI).

Good call on the United 747SP/741, I'd love to see those too. We already got the BB400 Saul Bass United 741 but only with smaller titles and bare engine cowlings. The later variant would be very welcome.

Dragon Wings have one too, but I'm hoping Aeroclassics can resurrect theirs as I would also love one in Icelandair original livery with Pegasus horse logo.

Likely to be the next gen B777 with the foldable wingtips.

Anything that is at least slightly different than the usual North American and Chinese products we mostly keep seeing by them and every other manufacturer would be nice

Continental DC-9 "Golden Jet" in 200 scale. I have the JETX 400 scale version.

How about a British Airways Landor Shorts 360?

Very good choice indeed. Herpa has done it in the smaller 1:500 but it hasn't been done in 1:400..

I'd love to see:

Air India B747-300
Qantas B747-300
Air Pacific B767-300
Air Pacific B737-300

Can't think of much more, for now.

I'd like to see them give their regional & prop moulds a bit more of a workout.
That BA Landor Shorts 360 above is a great example.
Likewise some CV580s in 1:400 wouldn't go astray.

Paresh has some nice choices above. I'd add an Air Pacific 737-500 to that list.

It would be nice to see *any* 743's made on a decent mould. Gemini's only made 6 total (I have the Corsair examples) and they're pretty old. They use their 744 mould pretty regularly it seems, so putting on different wings shouldn't be that difficult. The best 743's I have are Aeroclassics' Sabena examples, and one Cathay from BigBird Mk3. But those aren't exactly racing out of the factory anymore...

Favourite manufacturers - Aeroclassics ("just like a fine wine, they only get better with age"), also like El Aviador, and NG Models.

Would welcome some 747-300s including Qantas and Thai, however I think JC or NG will eventually beat Gemini to these. The Air Pacific suggestions would be great, I would add an Air Pacific 767-200 to the list. Or how about a Swissair Fokker 100 in the classic chocolate livery?

I vote for anything Midwest Express. Baby 9 or Md-80 or even the 717 when it wore just the Midwest livery.

Would love to see the British Airways Express SD-360 too - great choice. The Swissair chocolate F-100 would be awesome as well.....

I agree with the IL-62's. There haven't been too many of those from Gemini. Maybe 10 or so.

A re-run of Pan Am's Clipper Juan Trippe on the 747-100 would be great.

Seeing some older liveries too and airlines;

Pan Am
Northwest orient
TWA (Any Livery)
Pacific Western
UPS (Old Colors)
Japan Airlines (Old livery 1980's/90's)

Some of the old strategic air command KC-135's or an E3 Sentry.

Adopt the JC Wings 787-8 & -9 mold, start redoing various North American schemes. And some quality control improvement.
