It appears to have the test wing stub on the starboard side, unless I'm mistaken ? Again the pics need more light to create narrower apertures and greater depth of field. Looks great though, love all the printing.

You are not mistaken as I can see it too, although it is just the stub with no engine attatched.

I'm really tempted to get it but I may hold off for one with an engine mounted. Preferably one of the Turboprop engines it's carried in it's time.

Could be wrong here but thought that NG Model had said in response to an earlier post regarding the engine test pod (assuming that's what's being spoken about) - question "Just to confirm that the Honeywell Aviation Services 757 will NOT have the engine testing pod on this model this time around?" reply "Yes, you're right. We're still working on the special version. Maybe it will come out after a while." - apologies if off topic!

Possibly something got lost in translation, but I'll guess there wasn't much point in doing this release without the mini wing mount and perhaps NG's reply referred to an actual engine to include on that. Honeywell have tested a wide variety of engines including biz jet types and turbo props, NG probably don't have anything accurate moulded yet ?

Love this model but have a couple of concerns with the posted photo.

There's no spacing between COCKPIT and TECHNOLOGY on the model. Here's what it should look like.

Same deal with OUR and WIFI towards the rear. On the model there's no spacing.

Here's hoping that these errors are only on a sample model and not on the production run.

Also another rather unfortunate error, circled in the attached photo.

I don't plan to add this plane to my collection, regardless. But for those who want this model, I hope they're able to correct this error before they go into full production.

Ah yes, good catch!

Surprised that there are three spelling mistakes on a plane, and I think we need to give the graphics engineers a little credit. But don't worry, you found them very timely, the final product will not have these spelling mistakes. In the future, we will take effective measures to prevent these stupid mistakes from happening again.

Yes, perhaps the first to come out would be a turbofan.

Thank you for letting us know that you're fixing these errors!

Mistakes happen, but credit to the graphics engineers for doing a great job otherwise!
Credit also to NGmodels overall for taking the time to listen to our concerns and fixing errors before releasing your models out to the public.

Quite a history this 757 has, just the 5th 757 built and one of Eastern's original 1983 tranche. Switched to E4 engines and sold to UK charter operator Airtours/My Travel before going to Honeywell just over ten years ago. I wouldn't mind an Airtours or My Travel release based on G-JALC either.

I think you and NG are doing a superb job, Lily.
It is extremely difficult to not make the occasional little error when producing models like this and NG is to be commended for releasing so many models this month with so few mistakes on the sample pass.
Also, the fact that you are willing to submit your samples to the critical eyes of all the rivet counters here and then incorporate their observations into the final releases speaks volumes for your attention to your customers and commitment to quality of the highest standards.

Bravo NG, bravo!

I wish you the best success and commensurate rewards for your hard work!

I usually don't buy more than one airframe and already have 2 757 models, but I will definitely buy one of these when it has a test engine attached. Very cool model so far; I am a future customer.

The feedback received so far has changed our sales plan.
We plan to put the test turbofan engine on the plane before it goes on sale, so most collectors will be happier. But in order to achieve this goal, we still need a little help at present. There is a small logo on the test engine, who can provide us with fresher photos for reference, we want to make this small detail perfect too.

The turbofan HTF7000 was tested for the Gulfstream G250, so I think this logo shows a stylised Gulfstream and in the background a blu circle.

Unfortunately I haven't found a picture.

Was the HTF7000 under test whilst the aircraft had all the extra quirky slogans on it, which I think are 2017 vintage ? Just a thought, none of the pics I've seen with pod attached include them.

I see why you would want to add the turbofan engine but I think that adding it may make this 757 inaccurate. The HTF7000 engine that has been posted was tested around 2010 under a different livery. No WIFI mention or other slogans.

Even this photo of the HTF7000 has a watermark of 2010!

The current livery on the sample that you posted is testing connectivity such as WIFI and Satnav, therefore the WIFI logos and slogans and it dates to last year. The only test engine that I have seen combined with this current livery is the turboprop posted above.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but just looking at the livery of this plane during different years made me realize how silly it would be to add an engine that was tested around 2010 to this models livery circa 2017. Here's hoping that NG leaves the models without the test engine.

I believe you are correct. The only thing I’ve seen with this livery is the turboprop. NG Model August 2018 Release - Honeywell 757-8c9804a8-d35a-4300-ba6e-543bb96aaaaf.jpg

Yes, very valid observation
Suggest the manufacturer go back to square one and sift through all the pictures available - I tried (to verify livery vs test engine) but gave up eventually due to accompanying tedium
But if you're fastidious enough to try get that tiny, obscure and elusive logo correct ......

Hello, I just noticed 1 more error...

On the Model, it says “Enabled by JetWave” but on the actual plane it says “Enabled by JetWave and GX Aviation”.

We are sorry to inform that we have delayed the release of the 53020(Honeywell 757-200), and we will install the test engine for it before it goes on sale.

Hello NG. That is okay. Take your time to perfect the model.

Will this error be fixed on the final version?:

Yes, I noticed your feedback. But this is may not the mistake, this plane has many painting editions, the edition we referred is shown like the product. Later I will post the photo.

Hi, we looked up a lot of pictures and found that most of the tags showed "Enabled by JetWave "and only a few images were "Enabled by JetWave and GX Aviation". It should be that different test devices show different labels, and all the labels on the products we show are regular ones — "Enabled by JetWave“.

We also found that there was a special logo on a few images, but not on most. This logo is not shown on our products.

The "Enabled by JetWave" was changed to "Enabled by JetWave and GX Aviation" in July 2017 and has been flying in that configuration since then. The special logo below "Our Wheels & Brakes" seems to have been removed sometime in 2017 around the time the "GX Aviation" was added.

OK, if this is a stable label, we will change the label from "Enabled by JetWave" to "Enabled by JetWave and GX Aviation". This is really a test aircraft, the fuselage pattern changes too frequently, it is really difficult to do. Thank you for your advice.

Thank you for incorporating this change.

Regarding your addition of the HTF7000 turbofan engine, adding this engine to the current model would make the model inaccurate:

Even this photo of the HTF7000 has a watermark of 2010!

The current livery on the sample that you posted is testing connectivity such as WIFI and Satnav, therefore the WIFI logos and slogans and it dates to last year. The only test engine that I have seen combined with this current livery is the turboprop posted above.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but just looking at the livery of this plane during different years made me realize how silly it would be to add an engine that was tested around 2010 to this models livery circa 2017. Here's hoping that NG leaves the models without the test engine.

The HTF7000 was only ever installed when the aircraft had the old livery. A picture of it is shown here:

The "Connected Aircraft" livery only ever had a Turboprop installed on it. 2 pictures of it are shown here:

Update:

I found an image of N757HW with a turbofan on it. It is not, though, the HTF7000. In these recent images from May 2018, it is the TFE731-5BR.

The test engine was installed and the previously discovered error was fixed.
New photos are expected to be available soon.

This is a really remarkable attention to detail.
Are you 3D printing the test engines? I can't see how you could make them economically viable otherwise. Possibly plastic or resin moulds?

The most amazing thing I found about those pictures, was that there's still Sabreliners flying around

This is the finished product photos, compared to the sample, which add some details, fixes some errors, and, most importantly, adds the test engine.

The test engine is packaged as an attachment in a bag, and you need to insert the engine into the jack of the hanger by yourself. Of course, this is easy. No glue is required.

Due to the early completion, a small number of collectors have received, but the vast majority have not, from tomorrow, it will be shipped around the world together with the new products, I believe you will be able to get it soon. If you have not pre-order, you may contact your seller asap.
