Will the 757 feature realistically sized landing gears or the Gemini produced clunkers ? I'm extremely interested in a new and well proportioned 752, more so if an attempt on the launch customers (Eastern/BA) can be produced with original Rolls Royce RB-211C nacelles before the E4's came around. I'm hoping the proposed house colours editions mean that too ?
If so then British Airways first delivered 757 in 1983 (G-BIKB/Windsor Castle) Negus livery would be very much appreciated.

Hi guys - I like the suggestions on here so far - much better than those on wings900! I have been holding off posting about this 757 as I've been trying to find out more information. Here is what I've learnt so far:
A new 1:400 757 mould has long been needed. Gemini has terrible landing gear. Dragon's plastic wings, tails, and stabs are lower quality than metal wings, tails and stabs. I have bought very few 757's in part because of these factors.
The early 757 users, from the 1980's and 1990's, could be done. Eastern with "757" on the tail; British Airways Negus; Delta classic widget; Northwest Orient thermometer; Republic Airlines; United-Saul Bass colors; American classic 1968 livery; America West 80's colors; USAir 90's colors.

Hi, Al. Clunky langing gear and unsightly seams under the horizontal stabs, this first generation Gemini Jets 757-200 (with the later RR engines) still grabs me. There is something missing with the cool, deadly analytic appraisal of models/moulds, and that's the emotional appear. I like this GJ release, and will keep in my collection regardless of what comes along to replace it. Keep 'em flying, Doug

The Gemini Eastern 757 is still one of my favorites.

Id like to see a DHL one. Particularly Trans Tasman Cargo based at AKL. Or the other option, a Negus livery British Airways 757

And..........
Personally I think both of these releases would be very popular and a good start for your next releases, not to mention the loads of British subjects also NG Model. I'll take one of each please!
Not a 757 expert, but I don't see anything really wrong on this model. Excepted maybe the V-tail, too swept back. Some tweakings in this area and it will look perfect !

You've got such good tastes !!
Thank You! I guess I'm just a sucker for cheatlines and polished bellies!

Boeing 737-300 Condor (grey), Boeing 737-500 Air France, Boeing 747-200B SAA (white belly), Boeing 767-300ER LTU süd
Plenty of material here for 757 sales in a more or less competition free environment. (Apart from Gemini, who I am sure will try spoiling tactics with it's crappy old 757 mould.)
Will you be doing a release for the China Southern 757? They recently concluded services for this in December 2017 The gemini one just doesnt do it justice!

There was a JC Wings release last year too - same mould though. Yes there are a number of Chinese 757s coming via Skywings and my understanding is they will be using this mould.
I love the suggestions so far guys. There are lots and lots of 757s to be made. A word of caution however. So far NG Models appear to be more of a factory looking for people wanting to make models rather than a company with an impetus to make models themselves.
I would be surprised if they end up making lots of these without someone else paying for the production runs.

Richard, you may be correct. I guess I didn't read that far down his post. So let's say at wholesale $30 each US Dollars comes to $3,600 for a single run.Maybe we can get enough sales on here to make a few of these.
Thank you 'plane737' for posting 2 of my favorites! (Old EL AL and ETHIOPIAN)
My 3rd suggestion - ZAMBIA windowless Cargo version seems to have been lost in an apparent deletion over in another universe! One where deletions occur....
Plenty of cool 757s to be done.
Like UNITED multi blue Tulip!

This seems like a strange business plan. Why go to the expense of making a mould if you don't plan to make monthly releases, or at least regular releases?
If NG won't do regular releases themselves, then perhaps they should rent out the mould to someone who can--like Aeroclassics. AC would also likely make sure early 80's and 90's classic 757's get made, too.

Metal boxes look nice. But they also add shipping weight. These days, with shipping rates getting higher and higher, a metal box may not be a great idea. I wouldn't pay more shipping cost for a metal box.

I will chip in a request here for possibly the most obscure one - Royal Brunei, with the (supposedly) gold plated fittings in the loo
(admittedly, me and most others I think will forgo the golden details within, just the correct registration will suffice)
Very nice effort on a new mold for an aircraft type that definitely needs more representation in 1:400 than it has gotten! Without scanning through the rest of this thread to see if it's already been mentioned, if I could make an observation, it appears that the cockpit windows are a tad undersized. Would be great if this was addressed ahead of any production runs.
With that said, would love to see some US retro stuff that we all know GJ won't touch with a 10-foot pole! Many have already been mentioned, but I'll still throw out my wish list....
