Thumbs up A340 want-list!

Not *too* big, only a dozen maybe.

-600's are ugly, gimme a shorter one like this -300.

NORMAL colors.

DW's sucks, either re-release or have GJ do it.

Lots of Olympic releases lately, but no Airbuses. And the scheme looks GREAT on the A340.

Another one that needs to be redone by either DW or GJ to current standards.

See that? NORMAL colors. No giant licensing fee to an artist, if you just make the normal scheme.

Air Maritius, in case you're unfamiliar with them.

That just plain looks awesome.

Would go nice with my L-1011.

I'd go for the SIA and CX A343's..... wouldn't mind the Royal Jordanian either.

I just bought the GJ SIA 50th Anniversary A343, and before I buy another one of GJ's A340's, I hope they improve the detail on the landing gears. They are so plain~!!

The Olympic and GulfAir for me! Though I bet the latter will have to be made by DreamJets as licensing will be hard to obtain..

My only other 'wanted' 340 was the BWIA, and Gemini released that one pretty quick.

I could go for all of the ones David wished for... and like he said, in STANDARD schemes. Enough of the special scheme crap already!

The only A340 I want is one that will get out of its' own, and everyone else's way, whilst climbing.....

Thanks so much.

Doug,

I suspect the -600 should do a lot better in the climb?

And how about NW 757-300's, have you noticed anything that you may not have anticipated yet?

Count me in, you know I am a 346 fan.
I am 100% supportive of all current CX planes, I want to build a 1/400 fleet dammit!
Silly that CX is sticking to Herpa and allowing others to reproduce their planes unlicensed!

You speak such wise words, Mr. Minor. Such wise words.

On the 340 mould, these three would be my absolute first choices; with the addition of a Cathay Pacific.

The Cathay would be my first choice but the LAN would follow close behind then the Iberia, SAS, Aerolineas, Air Mauritius, Gulf Air N/C, Royal Brunei (probably a little further up the list actually) and a few others I guess.

Certainly though, anything in Cathay n/c and LAN is fine by me!

Default A340

The Air Maritius A340 is my choice, because we lease to that airline.

My choice for a fantasy livery would be be Air New Zealand, as a little bird whispered that it has something of a front running in the race with the 777 to replace ANZ's 747.
