Default Aeroclassics 727-100 wishlist

I got a couple of the new AC Alaska 727-100s and I have to say they are very nice replicas. I am picturing other potential liveries on this nice mould. Here is my wishlist:

Air Atlanta
Pan Am 80s colors prior to billboard
Eastern white, silver, and grey hockey stick
US Air rust colors
Continental black/red meatball
Delta widget
Emery postal last colors
Northwest all color schemes
Piedmont 80s colors
TWA twin stripes

I would add:

American '60s Astrojet scheme
United Mainliner delivery scheme
Allegheny '70s triple-red white-top
Braniff -any color

Thumbs up Great Mould!!!

With such a great mould I would love to see all three Air West schemes on it. A Northwest 90s scheme would also look fantastic.

How dare you people forget NE delivery and NE yellowbird!

Anyways, I'll put up my ginormously huge 727 wish-list in a few days--will do A340 and 737 lists first. (They're shorter).

Shame on all you AirWest numbnuts for forgetting about Pacific Air Lines. Some of those AirWest 721s had to come from somewhere you know!

Ok,

Mine has to be Continental Air Micronesia B727-24C N2475 "Ju Ju". Black tail logo, light gray teflon belly, Micronesian flag and black ani glare panel under the cockpit windows.

OUTSTANDING!

Time to subscribe with my favourite retailer for AeroClassic Three-holers!

I second David's motion for the NE Yellowbird and the original NE delivery colors and well, it just wouldn't be right if we didn't include the Widget to make it a set!

Thanks,

Don

Are there any non-QF/huskitted 721's left at UPS?

Anyways, we need UPS o/c! 721 (along with DC-8) is the quintessential UPS plane.

David,

I was not sure of the actual number of 727's re-engined for UPS and in digging around on the web, I found a figure as high as 58 airplanes that got the Mod- to QF status. Perhaps someone may have access to more definitive info on the actual numbers, but I am fairly certain that UPS is no longer operating Pratt powered -100's.

Can't wait for the CP Air!

How about TWA Twin Globe, United Friendship and Eastern Airlines "Falcon" delivery colors?! I know, they sound rather ordinary, but I can't seem to get enough of them!

Will we also see the indian-head Western? Did Western fly the -100?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot Piedmont delivery colors! A must have!

David
