Absolutely!! Already placed the order for it. It will display well together with the Martinair DC-9-30 in the same livery.

On Airplanesreplicas website you can't see the "Holland" titles : https://www.airplanereplicas.com/mar...d-dc-8-30.html
Weird. I hope Waffle is right, as I'd like to add this one to my collection.

Rest assured all models have Martinair Holland titles, just a lighter font, which is correct but may not show clearly on photos.

Good enough for me. Mathieu is an expert when it comes to Dutch registered aircraft.

The Martinair DC-8 will also join my collection. Now we need a Martinair DC-7C from Aeroclassics?

Other websites show the correct titles, so I got one.

Funny how difficult it is to predict how popular a model will be, as this Martinair DC-8 seems to be selling out very quickly. I would not have guessed that.

Sorry to say, it is not even close to a sell-out.

Dealers seem to order less and less, not wanting to take any risk at all in holding some inventory (yet they earn the highest profit margin), while the manufacturer, if they estimated wrong, continues to swell in unsold inventory.

Only 160 pcs of the Martinair DC-8 were produced, and over 40 pcs still remain in the factory.
If fewer yet quantities are to be produced, then that's fewer models to amortize fixed costs over, and a price rise in the near future, just to cover costs.

Sorry to hear that Andrew as this is a really nice model and very pleased with it. Hopefully some retailers like EZ toys and others will place restock orders for it.
