Default Waffle Collectibles

I thought it would be useful to collectors to share a very positive experience I recently had with Mike at Waffle Collectibles.

I've been a customer of Waffle for a few years now. On my most recent order, the package arrived and did not include 2 of the models I ordered, and one model was sent in duplicate. I might add that this is the first time that I have ever experienced an error in shipping.

I sent an email explaining the situation and very quickly received a response from an apologetic Mike saying that the missing models would be shipped to me, with a return label for the duplicate model. True to his word, within 48 hours the missing models were in my hands and I dispatched the duplicate model the following morning.

Needless to say I was extremely happy with the quick response and positive resolution. That...is great customer service!!

Thank you Mike, from a loyal customer.

Although I have only ordered from him twice, I must say both times orders shipped out fast and arrive on-time. He is very direct and concise when you talk to him, he will do what is needed. Looking forward to buy more from him again.

Does Waffle do monthly coupon codes like other retailer? I just joined his website and I want to purchase several models, but if I can get a discount, that would make it all that better. If he does, does anybody know this months code?

Thanks in advance,
Jason

I'm a bit late to this discussion, was traveling and am still catching up on e-mail and discussions.

Waffle is the best retailer you can ask for. Great products and prices, and the best customer service you can ask for. I have bought probably close to 200 1:400 models from Waffle, and have had all satisfactory experiences. A large part of why I am in this hobby is Michael's selection, sales, and service. I recommend him most highly.

Michael has always taken great care of my orders as well. I enjoy getting his emails, and it's obvious he loves what he does. I appreciate all the effort he puts forth to make sure we get what we want.
Thank you for starting this thread. It's nice to see positive comments.
(Not trying to hijack the thread, the guys @ Diecastairplane, are also great.) I like giving my business to the folks who don't mind answering questions, and sharing their experiences. I've purchased through some too, who respond, like we are a bother.
After all the years I've been collecting, I still find it to be a learning experience.

Yup, you're more likely to find a 'rare' model at a decent price at Waffle Collectables than anywhere else. Free Michael Warfel. Later, Doug

I can only concur with the sentiment that Michael is a great guy to deal with.

Much of my collection originates from his sales. Whenever I needed a spare or a correction to an order, Michael was always willing to accommodate.

Michael is one retailer which has done a lot for this hobby by making models available at reasonable prices.
Pity he has been 'worked out' of DAC.

Same experience here!

I've been a customer of his for years (Nick at Jetway too) - both excellent retailers and without their collection sales, my collection would be a fraction of its size.

I've slowed down collecting since developing a nasty Prepar3D flight simming addiction, but hope to buy from both again in the future.
