Here it is. The art work looks excellent.

I think the artwork is the same as the 1;200 version, but in 1:400 it definitely looks more tolerable and less 'blobby'. That E4B looks good!

Wow, anyone else notice the engines of that Jetblue regional? Looks like some 10 year old built a plastic model kit and pretty much had no clue what he was doing lol. I know detailed digital photos tend to make things worse than they really are, but that doesn't look very promising.

Remember, the photos are of pre-production samples. Sometimes they are not perfect. Hopefully someone older than 10 years old will assemble the final product!

Looks like the traditional 757 gears remain. A pity as what a great release to put a better version on. I'm looking forward to the Herpa version more.

While I have ordered the Icelandair Aurora livery, I actually would have been more excited for a 757 in their regular livery. But this is good too.

I see on e-bay where some one is trying to sell pre-orders of the Icelandair Aurora 1/400 757 for $90.00! I think it's a great looking model, but why would anyone pay that much? I know they are selling out fast at various retailers, but $90.00 is just stupid.

Looking forward to my Alaska Air and not-pre-production JetBlue EMB-190. My first sighting of the attractive new Alaska livery was when it flew low over my university in Washington, DC on its approach to DCA! I'd be happier if those nice colors rippled all the way along the bottom of the aircraft, but it still looks good.

Is that the one from Herpa Wings? My usual store told me their supplier is offering them for about $100 a pop... wtf

No, I've now seen two of the Gemini 1/400 Icelandair 757's going for $85 and $90 pre-orders. Makes no sense to me....

Those prices don't really surprise me at all, especially given the hype over that particular subject and the apparent rate at which these models have been selling. You should see how much other 1:400 models sometimes go for on eBay. There was a GJ Braniff (Mk II) 727-200 that sold for $81 the other day, and there were some Southwest special livery 737-700s that I saw go for $100 earlier this year.

I don't understand it either. There are so many sellers on eBay trying to get really high, excessive amounts for their airline diecast model stock. I can understand if something is in very high demand, and they have it, but come on, $100+ for a Virgin Atlantic A330? That's one example..

Aside from Qatar and Icelandair, this is a seriously US-heavy month. It's nice to see a departure from the stacks of Asian jets and Euro-blancs.

What are the wagers going for as to which of these new releases will crumble into pieces first as a result of zinc-rot?

I'm hoping against all odds that the jetBlue E-190 looks better than the photo provided, but I'm not holding my breath. If it's a mess, off she goes back to the retailer.

My JetBlue EMB-190 arrived. It looks much better than the photo shown above. However, the tail is glued in only partly inserted, so there's a gap with the fuselage. Also, there's a nasty chip in the tailcone paint. So it's going back for exchange.

Mine just arrived, thankfully without any major issues. It looks great next to my other B6 models! I hope you were able to get an exchange without any problems.
