Pylons look too big therefore engines slung too low, same issue as when Gemini used theirs. Wings look to droop a bit too much as well.

No...This was made as an exclusive batch for one of their retailers. Why do people always spread rumours when they don't know the back story

Ok, so you don't mind if I send an email to Singapore Airlines providing the Retailer's contact details?

So a chance for JCwings to do a decent 1/200 A310?

Sure, go ahead, if SQ wanted to catch JC they would already have done that long ago. SQ's instagram account even shares the photos of SQ collectors' collections, which obviously contain a lot of unlicensed models.

Pylons far too deep and no dihedral whatsoever.
Yep, work those vacuum cleaners! Don't modify the mould or anything.

That is why I've never bought an A310. Piss-poor effort.
I just hope one day Aeroclassics fills the void with a decent representation of this aircraft.

It actually looks like the original Dragon Wings SQ A310. Even the incorrect colour of golden logo is the same.

I guess you have time to do other meaningful things than this. JC do this at their own risk. You may be right, but it makes collectors here uncomfortable.

Incorrect engine cowls and winglet design. The top of the tail fin should be flat but this is slightly rounded. Paint color shouldn't be gold, but yellow at that time.

So, it's not a very good model.

Haha yeah....special hijacked aircraft. Still, the model should be as accurate as it should.

Paint colour is accurate as gold, I believe only the A310-200 ever received the yellow paint scheme. That being said, this photo only goes to prove what a poor mould this is

There are also SQ A310 painted as yellow paint. I've seen the actual aircraft before, though not sure if there's a series difference as the box states -300.

i believe that the gold livery was introduce for the megatop and the whole fleet was repainted in the same gold livery. the earlier A310 did appear in the yellow livery.

the STA and STZ are introduce in the 1990's (after the megatop) therefore they never existed in the yellow livery.

SIA did introduce new livery again for the A380 having a larger font and logo, as the original font and logo is not proportion to the A380.

Did anyone here sees the megatop in original yellow livery?

click here for the information on airfleet here

you are right, however, only the -200 versions (without the wingtip fences) was ever painted in the yellow scheme and later, the golden scheme as well.

wtf...It has gone backwards. I'd rather have a Herpa's first release 20 years ago.

I see...a little bit confusing there. Still the yellow schemes are classic, similarly for the SQ/BA Concorde.

Well, another futile attempt to make an A310 in 1:400. Wings and pylons are horrible. Nice printing, though. This is not the old Dragon Wings mould (I have the DW SIA 310). The engines on DW's A310 have more ground clearance.
To me it looks more like the first Gemini A310-mould, which was also bad (vacuum cleaner style engines).
I have given up hope that we will ever see a decent A310 mould in 1:400 or 1:200.
An Aero Classics A310 mould with the same quality as their A300 would be my dream - are you listening Andrew?

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes, you are right Sven Nikolaus, this models are manufactured by JC Wings using GeminiJets' Mould but not Dragon Wings. The wings are made of metal instead of plastic.
