Default 1/400 JC Wings Boeing 747-8i

I missed the Phoenix version. Got 1 Hogan and 2 JCs.

Nice collection.

I would like a 747-8i in 1/400and 1/200 but I prefer the wings in a ground mode.

Who makes them in a ground mode in both scales?

From the first pics, foreground and middle models are by JC Wings. Background model is Hogan. All models are ground version.

JC's cockpit area is a let down, but I'll get my copy. This is such a nice livery.

Yeah, even out-of-focus in the background, you can tell the Hogan has a way better cockpit.

It's actually not out of focus. In photography term it calls 'bokeh'. I agree Hogan has a better cockpit

"Bokeh" means outwith the bounds of the depth of field, therefore 'out of focus'...

bokeh is a form of "out of focus". when the aperture is huge, it could only focus on a smaller range of distance. yes, the hogan one has good cockpit.

I got the main subject focused, the term out of focus cannot be applied for the pics.

The aperture used was f13 with 50mm. Although the aperture is small but still get the blurry(bokeh) background due to small subject(close-up shot).

The pictures aren't out of focus, but certain elements are, as would be expected in a medium depth of field or "bokeh". Now then, my 747-8 must be due today...

Those out-of-focus orange tails hurt my eyes!
