Do you know what Airline it represented..?

Singapore Airlines are enforcing a ban on all manufacturers and retailers who have models of Singapore Airlines aircraft, threatening legal action to anyone who makes or sells unauthorised models. From now on only Singapore Airlines approved and sold through the airline site will be available...

This Singapore issue is really confusing. If manufacturers like Inflight, Gemini Jets and maybe Phoenix are licensed, then why all this worry?

gemini jets official website does not have singapore airlines in their product list.

inflight has singapore airlines but recent release are of older aircraft.

if the information is true. all licensed products will only be on sale on SIA website. I dunnoe the kind of price tag they are going to put on the official mechanise.

but again if the model comes from the airline itself, it should be very accurate.

and you guys continue bashing china for their lack of ip enforcement...

well, getting licenses from (i) the aircraft manufacturer; (ii) airlines; and (iii) third party licensor (eg. disney, sanrio etc) ain't cheap... and the cost will definitely be passed on to the collectors. so peeps... what'll it be? licensed products at exorbitant prices, unlicensed white box products at affordable prices or none at all?

yes, that is true. but for one, all the collectors will be singing that their models are accurate and correct, after they really pay for the official product seal.

hurray, no more complaining about sub standard model if the model is carefully inspected by all parties.

what a joke, most official models are less detailed and less accurate because they are made or ordered by people who don't care much for it. You really dont know what you are talking about fongee.
