I haven't yet seen the JC version yet ( in 1/400 anyway!) but for me and in my humble opinion if you like your MD-11's, then the latest Geminijets versions are by a million miles far the best. I've got most of their MD-11's but the last two,ie the KLM and UPS have fantastic well researched detail. Their cockpit windows are the best by far, their engines are extremely well done and minute details like antennae, nose cones etc!! So if you want good MD-11's go for the latest GJ's.

PS: I'm really trying to push GJ to do more MD-11's especially on their Facebook page, but have had no luck recently!!

GJ did quite a good job for the recent release. it did trigger my interest for this aircraft. but that GJ KLM was reserve and sold to someone else. that's why i am looking at JCW and PHX.

Just be advised that the number 2 engine is just a black hole, so if you want that to be there go for the Phoenix or the JC. I have the Phoenix and it's pretty good. Haven't taken a look at the JC one though

the tail grove lines seems to be in detail for the phoenix. i hope those grove lines are fine, if not the tail could seem wrinkled. if those lines are so badly done . i rather them not do it.

I checked out the JC MD11 at one of my nearby stores and it is exactly the same as the Gemini. I assume it is the same haha. I'd go for Phoenix. the DLHC MD11F has very noticeable tail groves but my KLM one is a little less promenant
