Request for Aeroclassics: TEA (Trans European) A300B4
Another targeted request for Aeroclassics: A300B4 of Belgian tour and charter carrier Trans European Airways. Founded in 1970, TEA flew tour flights on aircraft including 737's, A300's, and 720's/ 707's. They expanded rapidly in the 1980's, establishing national subsidiaries in other European countries. After the 1991 Gulf War, the airline folded.
Two of TEA's three Airbus A300's were of the standard-length A300B4 body for which Aeroclassics has the mould. (One was the shorter A300B1 version.) TEA's 1970's livery was a handsome two-tone blue with a gray underside.
Aeroclassics has made three TEA 737-200's: two in the carrier's later Euro-white livery, and one in the more attractive cheatline livery. The Aeroclassics, DiMA, and DAC databases show that these are the only 1:400 TEA aircraft made. How about an A300?
The greatest need in 1:400: Reissues of Major Passenger-Carrier 747 Classics: -100/200, -300, and SP, of NG / Aeroclassics / Big Bird Mk. 1 quality. Examples: American; United Blue-Star, Bass; TWA double globe, double stripe; Pan Am delivery; British Airways Negus, Landor; KLM 70's-80's blue top; Air France 70's-80's; Lufthansa 70's-80's; Aer Lingus delivery; Sabena 80's circle-s; Japan Air Lines 70's-80s; All Nippon 70's; and Qantas 70's-80's.
