Seems to me that Jet-X/Dragon (and even Herpa) never got the colors right on Delta models. The cheatline blue seems too light.

Wow! Nice to see the good ole Jet-X MD-11 from Delta come to live!

P.S. You should also do one set up of the Dragon models MD-11 in the Delta Interm colors...

I have the Gemini Classic Widget MD-11, and the Dragon Interim / Ron Allen colors MD-11. Gemini definitely gets the Classic Widget blue right (sufficiently dark). Dragon gets the similarly-dark Interim right. If the photos above depict the Jet-X Classic Widget colors right, I'm not sure why they didn't get it dark enough.

Kind of off topic but I really like those jetways...

Yup---this model would be one of the best 1/400 ever, if the blue was darker. But it's not even close, it's like "pepsi blue", when it should be "one or two steps away from black".

The color is not even the biggest problem. The cheatline is too high. On all Delta widget schemes, the bare metal belly starts at the bottom of the doors. There was only a slight area of paint below the door kickplates.

I don't mean to be negative, but it looks a bit more toy than model to me. There's just something about the overall look of it, the very stubby winglets and simple gear and engine pylons and deep panel recesses on the tail.
