Need your help!

Dear diecast-lovers,

I was searching for ages to get the Gemini Jets A380 from Air France till I found out that exactly this aircraft is in stock at jetwaymodels.com (COLLECTION SALES at Jetway Models).
The problem is that jetwaymodels is not able to ship it to Germany.
As a result I am asking you to help me out.
If anybody wants to help me with buying the A380 and ship it to Germany, I would thank you for ever! So please make an effort to help me!

C.mon Nick, Dont you know Germany is the financial powerhouse of the world?

Alot of countrys around the world are tightning up on customs because there is extra $£$£$£$£ in it for them. £18 tax free thing must be a european rule then.

This is an interesting thread to me considering the lecture I got on the other site for not wanting to deal with international shipping on Ebay...

I thought it was the recipient that dealt with customs, how so the sender ?

It might not necessarily be about taxes. It could be that customs are more stringent, so the package gets delayed for some time.

The longest I've had something delayed by customs was from Canada (three times). Not had any issues with Germany, although I am also living within the EU.

That's my question as well. Why are sellers making a foreign country's customs their problem? Customs issues are strictly between them and the importer. If duty isn't paid, package is refused to be released and sent back.
We're talking Germany here not a third world country.

That's a totally different issue, you are being taken for a ride by Ebay. They make extra profits by having unsuspecting sellers like you think they are doing the buyers a favor by paying duty and overcharging on shipping.
