I see Gemini did the actual missing 777 some time ago. Not much I can say about this given the current circumstances. What's the general opinion on the Witty/Apollo 777 mould ?

Overall; It's hard for me to give a view on this model, since it's my first Witty/Apollo 777 model. But the 'Malaysia' title looks different than the GJ 777.

I think it's second to only Phoenix, though not by much.

Here is a recent photo comparison thread.

ADL was serviced for years with the MH772.
This looks pretty darn close to what I've seen countless times.
I think it's very impressive.

Looks fairly decent, however those ridiculously oversized and out of scale fan blades in the engines look hideous. For 777s though, I'll stick with the leader; Phoenix!!

GJ's MH 777 is much better, and as pointed out above, has the correct titles.

Well I am surprised....
A little off topic but there is a GJ MH 772 on ebay with 6 days to go at AUD493.81.
And another one going for $274.83.....

I think I will get the Apollo one - inflation seems to be a real bummer with MAS 777' models these days.

Overall - very nice model the Apollo release.

Wow, something new on fan blades moulding for 1:400.

Impressive that I hope GJ will adapt this too!

To be fair, GJ has the same problem on 'malaysia' font for their 744 'GeminiJetsII' line.

So I assume all manufacturers pain-stakingly execute from scratch, for all the logos & those unique fonts, no?

I was reminded of this thread by the recent Phoenix 772 pre-order. I don't see this model available anywhere (not even ebay), nor in the database. Was this pulled by Apollo/Witty because of 370?

Still a bit toy like compared to the PH mould. Not my cup of tea I am afraid. The nose gear is too thick etc......

Looks like the forthcoming Phoenix release will be a riot!

But hopefully, no ridiculous inflation.
