Nice and simple explaination.
What I think sets your pics from standard pictures is the lighting and the amount of GSE that you have allocated around the aircraft. Its common to see lines of GSE around an aircraft that are not being used and makes the ramp seem crowded...just like the real thing.
I concur that flash photography is a no no in getting the right light for a picture.

Well done.

You mentioned that you had copied 1/500 Herpa airport terminal buildings then upscaled them to 1/400. I was unaware that Herpa scale buildings existed in 'card' form - I thought they existed only as plastic moldings. Any responses appreciated. Doug

I'm curious on how you do your background photos. Are they your own? Do you zoom in a little when taking them?

So, following up on a reference provided by Bob (Jetstar 1) in Adelaide, Australia, I ordered the Herpa 1/500 Munich Terminal 2 from aircraftmodelstore.co.uk, Wilmslow, United Kingdom. The Herpa package arrived yesterday in Bradenton, Florida, USA. - an example of what makes DA.C such a great experience. Thanks to all concerned, Doug Seeley
