It's interesting but been done already by Gemini and Aeroclassics. Surely a release with the Fly to Serve crest would serve the collectorate better ?

Why???
It looks like a cheap toy, and not a collectible model. Nose wrong shape, cockpit wrong, doors/windows printed too high, and those landing gear are a deal killer. An A320 does not sit like that. Don't you guys have access to airliners.net to see what the plane really looks like?
I already have a BA A320 in my collection, a rather fine one at that, so this Johnny-come-lately will remain on my dealer's shelf!

In this case, I agree with Mr. Klein. The nose gear is weird, too long (?), remind me on the old Dragon Wings's A320

Is it also forward angled, as seen on picture #2?

Gotta concur. AC 's mould is quite spot on. Glad I have this release from them. The gear on this release is atrocious.

Cheap toy? I would not give that to my kids to play with! What are you smoking!!
Its quite acceptable and looks like a A320.

Thing is Klein - your actually helping JC because everytime you slander and abuse such a release, JC go away and restudy their next release and IMPROVE their next release and your little comfortable place on the couch gets a little more squeezed.
I'd be watching out if I were you. They are proven to listen to their customers and you'll be overtaken in no time.

I'll be there to watch it all happen!

Well done JC - nice release and kudos for always improving and listening to the collector.

You've got your nose so far up Johan Chan's azz it shows in your idiotic comments already!
I've made a very details commentary, and except for your verbal diarrhea, everyone seems to agree with me whom have posted so far.

You talk about slander, but you're the one who does it very freely and openly. You may continue, but as stated elsewhere, your comments are out of order, and a load of bollocks!

Its all fact.
Whilst people might agree with the 'constructive' comments like nose gear etc, JC actually take this info away and IMPROVE their offerings.
EG : 777 mould !
So no matter how you look at it - JC are in the business to better your product . I agree your Airbus moulds are excellent and have always supported their releases.
Sure their offerings early in the piece were sub standard in comparison but they are getting better and better.
Its not a matter of 'if', its a matter or 'when'.

And yes - I support JC Wings. No hiding that and no reason to either. Don't know them personally but happy to give them my business...you should check out their models - really nice.

Klein,

Why must you always have to be so rude, it's only a model. Your behaviour is not acceptable.

Could you please change your ways.

On behalf of everyone.
Thank you.

You obviously neglected to read the entire thread before making such a ridiculous remark.
I only remarked on a model, and not as to whether someone is smoking something lethal or needs time on a couch. How do you you expect me to give any respect to those who absolutely don't deserve, or earn it. Life is a 2-way street!

All they did was use GJ's 777 mould; that's hardly improving anything. I'm surprised GJ let's them use their tooling to compete with them; bad business sense, unless it was done without their prior knowledge or approval, which is more along JC's modus operandae.
JC can be in business until eternity, however they are not capable of improving on anything we do, just copying!!

Then copy away - consumers can choose what they want.
No one is forcing anyone to buy it.
Manufacturing politics is not really relevant in the consumer purchases for the majority of collectors...simple fact.

Looking forward to receiving this release. JC Wings haven't entirely copied GJ or AC with this release because the only other BA A320s in 1:400 have the CFM engines, while this one is equipped with IAE's.

Something just doesn't look right with this model, the blue on the belly looks to dark, and there seems to be a strange white stripe running down the front of the tail.

You're right, but then again a lot of Gemini BA releases suffer from a too dark shade of blue as well.

It looks like it, so therefore never mind the BA licensing issues, the Olympic committee will rip them a new a$$hole. That said, has any other manufacturer given us unlicensed Olympic stuff ???

G'day... (sort of...)

I'm locking this thread down because of what has been said (completely off-topic as well) and because of the amount of complaints I have received. However as always those complaining are doing so over the replies from individuals and not from the original perpetrator‎(s).

This thread went crook-eyed when Bangkok Lady La accused another member personally of... What are you smoking!! Everything else he said is fine, however why does he end with this personal attack...? Because he is clearly wanting the other member to attack back... Which is what happens...

Then a.sciberras pipes in with... Klein, Why must you always have to be so rude Which again is a personal attack. Also when were you made spokesperson for the entire site?

And QFA388?? Pointing out Aeroclassics mistake is fine, but to suggest it's ongoing is clearly an insult aimed personally at him...

(As a side note: Are collectors of Qantas aware of why there was no recall over the recent Aeroclassic Qantas Freight model..? Because once it was pointed out here and on other forums about the minor color-mismatch, the sales of that particular model skyrocketed (it sold out in 2 days in Australia) because certain collectors where bulk buying, hoping for a recall so they could make a killing on re-sales these models.)

It's also interesting that other members who point out various mistakes are not attacked for their views, simply only one person here was originally slandered, and those who did slander him, knew he would attack back and then you reported him for it!

I'm not stupid... Report me to the owners if you like... I give them regular updates of what is going on here and have their support. It amazes me members put the boot into another member, stir the hornets nest then stand back and wait for the replies and report that!

Finally W.O.R.D.S. Are members really so confronted by words such as 'wanker', 'abortion', etc...? I do realise that using the primary 'dirty/sexual' words and various combinations there-of will have the auto-word checker deleting that word back to **** Also the american use of the word a-s-s will also auto-delete, which is annoying because I can't say gla-sses without using a hypen because it contains a-s-s!

But Wanker..? It IS a word found in the Dictonary! The Aussie definition is: Wanker a male person that is really stupid but they think they are the greatest. A more general discription is: 1/ A male masturbator. 2/ A worthless fellow. 3/ A contemptible person; jerk.

And Abortion..? 1/ The removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy. 2/ Any malformed or monstrous person, thing, etc. 3/ The stopping of an illness, infection, etc., at a very early stage. 4/ shambles; mess. 5/ Anything that fails to develop, progress, or mature, as a design or project.

May I suggest that before members complain about words, you carry out a simple google search and find out if the word used is appropiate and acceptable in society. The word MAY offend you, however that does NOT make it illegal to use. That is because illegal words are barred by the system already.

And stop personally attacking and slandering other members... Next time 10 days suspension to the first one who starts it. Not those who follow up, but the first member who started it.

Lou
