Default DC-8-10-30s Coming Soon - Hopefully

We've really been missing the first jets (no TU104, no 707-100 etc) but now we've got a new early DC-8 mould there's a good range of early DC-8s that can be done and I look forward to Aeroclassics releasing at least some of the following:

Pan Am:

Northwest
First Delivery scheme

Second Delivery Scheme

Eastern

There are several EA variants see here: AIRLINERCAFE.COM - Forums - Lost Schemes: #180 Eastern Air Lines DC-8B (1955)

United Mainliner many variants:

Delta Delivery Clrs:

National Proud N:

Panagra:

Panair do Brasil:

TAI:

SAS:

Swissair:

What else would people like to see?

There's quite a few I would like but my top 3 would be KLM, Martinair and Cubana (provided a 40 series can be done).

Although i stopped purchasing 1/400s, i would definitely by the NAL Proud N should the engines have better detail than the early GJ releases. i bet this is a challenge on this scale...

other suggestions would be;

and AC... get the radome color correct!`

Definitely this:

Considering that the Alitalia -62 was an almost instant sell out and can't be found now for less than 100 USD when it rarely appears on Ebay, I would be very surprised that this has not been considered amongst the first options. I know, it is a -43 series...

There's A Certian Coolnes To Some Of These Ugly Early Liveries Have, A Certain Character That All The Current Stuff Is Void Of.
This Has Been Visited Before. Remember All Those Gemini Short 8s? Rumour Has It Some Are Still Left Lying Around.
My Problem With Those Old 8s Is The Windowline Was Way Too Low.
If They Were Corrected I'm All In.

My issue with the old Gemini eights is pretty much the whole mould. They are ok but put one up against an AC series 50 and you see the problems. Chunky nose, poorly detailed nose gear, thick and poorly detailed wings etc.

Personally I don't find these early liveries ugly at all but I agree they have a lot of character.

I'm quite excited about the possibilities for the new AC DC-8-10-30 mould and would probably buy all those illustrated above. Just need AK to sort out his pylons issue mentioned elsewhere and away we go!
My priorities would be Pan Am, Panair do Brasil, KLM (delivery scheme), SAS,Alitalia (delivery scheme) and Air Spain.

I would buy the National to go with the several DC-8's I have in the proud N colors.

There's only been one release in the Proud N - a DC-8-61. The series 50 releases are in 'The Airline of the Stars' scheme from before Bud Maytag took over.
