I’m pleased to provide you with the clues for most of the releases for next month. Two models for our overseas collectors were delayed until next month. We will post the new releases and photos of the samples next week. Have a great weekend everyone!
1:400 scale
1. When figuring out what type of plane this is, don’t let the extra doors fool you as you set off to your vacation package destination.
2. On September 4th this company received the first type of this plane in their fleet. While the aircraft looks great in my opinion, it sadly means the three engine bird in their fleet is winding down.
3. If you’re planning on visiting Las Vegas to go spotting, you will see lots of these noise makers coming and going unless it’s a Tuesday or Saturday, they will be parked.
4. Six Days Seven Nights, Patriot Games, Star Wars & What Lies Beneath.
5. This is the fourth plane in this unique group of liveries revealed by this airline. The first of four was revealed around 20 years ago and no, that is not a zip tie.
6. This airline usually uses this twin airplane type on routes when they first start. Once the route has been doing well and their name is in the local market they normally upgrade it to one of their many larger birds.
7. This jumbo, going very well with the model in clue number four, sports a livery with red and blue lines after being leased by one of the country’s two major airlines.
#2 - at first I wanted to go with Biman (given the DC-10 last flight tomorrow) - but I bet it's the Lufthansa Cargo 777.
I like that idea, but I think it is a FedEx 763, delivered Sept 4 and the MD-11 are fading out.
1. AS 738 in the Cars livery
3. Allegiant MD-80s

Reason: 738, not 739
Fed Ex for sure. LH had to wait for repairs of some kind on their 777F, so delivery was mid or late Sept I believe. It's coming though, either from GJ or PHX.

The LH B77f D-ALFA was delayed from Boeing by one week because of a wing issue. These are the December releases. The US won't receive them until the first to second week of January. It's like that every month. The November releases are being shipped now. If I am right I believe that the name "Biman" is no longer on their B773s, just their DC-10s.

Allegiant doesn't operate on Saturdays and Tuesdays?
At least in LAS...

I'm thinking #1 is an A319 from EasyJet or Allegiant. They have extra doors over the wings to fit more people in the plane under FAA guidelines. Both serve vacation markets too.
