Default Witty Wings 744 release ideas!

Seeing that Witty wings are the talk at the moment - and releasing some kick a$$ models of major carriers I thought these examples are begging for a release or re-release.

ANZ 744 old colours. This model has been done but on a sub standard mould by Netmodels/Magic years ago but is begging to be released on a better mould.
United 744 : GJ are the only release back over 10 years ago and hard to find for a iconic aircraft and colour scheme.
CX 744 : Big Bird examples command high prices on ebay and a major release could be a winner.

BTW : This thread is for positive comments only and not a brand bashing canvas for those who have nothing positive to add. Many collectors want these models and now Witty have a good product lets give it a go.

Good idea, I am hopping to see Witty re-release all those big-birds impossible to buy:
BA 747-200 in Union Jack, other variations of BA 747-100/200 are too welcome, Cathay would be too nice, more and more and more Pan Ams, Lufthansas.

I do have a GJ 747 battleship and I believe it is not that horribly rare, but I guess I would buy another one too.

G'day,

also while we're 'Wishing on a star' a re-release of Qantas 742's as previously made by Big Bird would be a god-send... It really would be as no matter how hard I search I can't find the originals for anything under AUS $200.

Also considering previous form in re-releasing the Pan Am models means it can't be that difficult..?

Yay

I'd love to see a Swissair B.747-100 released again on this Big Bird mould, but without the painting errors of the previous release of years ago. That would be nice!

Before getting bored by these "modern" 747-400's which actually is a great aircraft I really want so see more 747-300 releases, starting with SAA, Qantas and Cathay Pacific in 1:400. The SAA 747-300 in springbok livery is a piece of history (Apartheid first, equality (at least by law) second), Cathay's 747-300 gives me feeling of Britain starting to think about saying good bye to Hong Kong for good and Qantas is just Qantas. So please more 747-300's with more details than the old releases.

A Negus & Negus 747-200 with 'British' titles would be nice.
As would a correct BOAC 747-100.

A Negus & Negus 'British' 741 remains to be done or indeed one with black tipped radome. Agree on the BOAC though...

Drool.....
I want the Cape Town / Kaapstad. (wonder why... )

Oh yes. And they can re-do the Jet-X examples as well, especially with the correct spelling of Waterberg on the -200 and not Wafelberg (? WTF!), although this one would be in the new rainbow colours.

This is actually the Ebay pic from the actual auction plane I won several years back. Tucano/DW 743 Swissair. I'm very pleased with it, but would love to see this re released by Apollo/Witty like the recent 'chocolate stripe' version they just put out.Attachment 95043

Yeah that's the one.
I think nevertheless, the most wanted stuff we should demand from Witty/Apollo is old Cathay Pacific liveries for all series of 747s and the Tristar which they did release once in some middle eastern livery.
Old Cathay, mankind wants old Cathay and it wants it NOW!!

Attachment 95045CX 747-300. I'l take one thank you. I've passed up one or two of the 1/400 Tucano 743's because of diff. quality issues on each particular model. It's time for a decent re release.

Here's my Magic 742 with RRs, love it!
I got it few years back, while at the same time Magic was to release 747-300 in the same livery which never materialized.

Although already mentioned I would also like to see a Qantas 742 plus also a 743.

I am lucky I have both but there are a number of Australian collectors that would buy them, me included.

I was reading that in the military area. This does seem odd considering the new moulds they'd been putting out. They have by far the best existing L1011 Tristar mould and it was great to see reuse of the old 747 Classic mould too.
