I'm glad I ordered the LH/sharklets, Kras and Tigerair, they look great.
Might invest in the LH standard livery too. Will thinks more about that one.

I was tempted to order that SQ 747, but didn't. Just went with SQ A380 and Garuda A330.

John, can you please confirm if the A320 (Tigerair) in standard version without winglets has correct angle of wings and that they are not straight.

How come the Pokemon 747-400 doesn't have winglets?

I'ts a D variant or domestic. Short flight within Japan with high capacity but no need for the fuel saving wingtips. JAL had them in service and ANA I think still use them.

I remember when you were just posting really great photos instead of being the top nitpicker on every thread. Liked your earlier photo threads a lot better than this drivel.

I don't know if this models wings have "the correct angle", it's just a great little model and it looks perfect. But i guess the picture you show in your post, is somewhat similar to the angle of the models wings (give or take a few degrees)

Mathieu, well thanks but unfortunately I am not a photo posting machine, I can't always just post photos without saying anything and I want to speak out sometimes what worries me, the things that I think could be improved, if some certain model is crap why should I call it candy, I can't and I never will do that, my friends who are beginner collectors should know and have a clear picture what is good and what is bad here and I am actually glad and satisfied that manufacturers reading all this so there's some hope they won't do the same mistakes again in the future, with constant asslicking there won't be any progress in this hobby, I don't understand why I have to receive such posts like this from someone I thought was my friend but apparently that's what you pay for being a truth detector here. I can assure there is nothing I post could be classified as "drivel" as you say, if you don't like the truth and what I write then just don't read it and pass my posts but don't call it drivel without reason, unlike you I respond for every word I say and sorry none of my posts deserves such "classification".

Can't wait to take delivery of my Lufthansa Airbuses from Phoenix's August releases. They are on their way to Manas Airport in Bishkek - my current location. D-AIGC is particularly expected with impatience - unfortunately I missed out on the AC release.

However, the window line shown on all three LH releases irritates me a little bit - on the A340s it slightly goes upwards starting from door 1 up to the tail unit - hmm. At least this is not the case with the LH 320w on its starboard side (shown on the fantastic photos above) but the other side is different - window line going slightly downwards from door 1 to the stabilizers. An avoidable little flaw nowadays. Nevertheless, I will welcome the models to my almost complete Lufthansa collection.

When that's the case, share some pictures with us if you have them displayed. In diesem Sinne, schönen Abend noch!

Despite errors Phoenix Lufthansas are pretty charming, yes they have this charm about them. I can't wait for mine too.
Besides, MSX says Phoenix is cool

Thanks all for your comments.

Please keep this thread (instead of many others) clean.
Don't lure people into a reaction for something that has nothing to do with this thread.

Thank you.

I see on the pictures what you mean (thank you for the compliment by the way) however it could be some optical illusion too (i haven't checked other models on the issue you describe), as i don't have an exact 90 degree angle when i take the pictures. More close or over 100 degrees angle i guess. So slighly from behind the model

Your pictures always end up costing me money! Hadn't planned on the JAL Disney. But after seeing the pics, decided to get one.

Still awaiting for suppliers outside China to have this for sale. It was expected September 6, looks like it is being delayed
Meanwhile, in anticipation of new Lufthansas:

um, there are only few (too few) suppliers caring for its reputations I am willing to buy from (unless it is a long-sold out model then I take the risks).
Many suppliers in US now start to get infected with that chinese disease worrying about collecting money only, shipping defective garbage not woth 1 cent. So I know what I am doing saving money and time

If that is your idea/expierience, maybe now it's time for you to "think out of the box"
