Default Gemini BA A380 corrected reg

Typo maybe but Gemini did get the reg wrong on the BA A380 just out now in the UK. (G-XLBB instead of G-XLEB). So i got thinking how easy would it be to change it. Here is the result by overlaying the reg with the correct one did the top of the tail too. OK it not the perfect answer and yes you could easily be picked off but for correctness it shows the right reg now. Well at least some of the ones we have do. Does it bother you to have the correct reg or is it not an issue?
The picture is not that good and it does look better on the model than it does here.

Massive failure to pay attention or licensing issue ? Either way, I won't be buying it.

no. when you use Kanji to write everything ... when creating artwork for very small letters in a foreign alphabet it is very easy to mistake the letter "B" for the letter "E"

That a good point to us it is a big error but when English not your first language maybe explains the error. Witty BA 747 was G-BDXI on the side and G-ADXI under the wing. Surely they must have qc checks prior to pushing the production button. Boxes also suffer the same fate Inflight 200 BA 747 has the word Boenig on the front instead of Boeing.

At least i have G-XLEB and not G-XLBB in my personal collection next to G-XLEA.

Also i noticed the Skymarks Malaysian A380 had the French reg on it rather then the Malaysian delivery reg.

But Gemini announced the model as G-XLBB, that's my point, not a printing error. Hence my query about it being a licensing issue ?

They posted on their facebook page that the model was produced when the original release was done before British Airways set their final regs.

Thumbs down Re: Gemini BA A380 corrected reg

Reg needs to be correct, full stop. I will be cancelling mine...... Gemini will do a re-release with correct reg! (After all, it`s BA!)

The first Gemini one G-BBIG, fantasy but in a rush to get it out! Second version reg correct, G-XLEA but Gemini website stated G-XLBA! Third version Gemini website G-XLBB, model box states G-XLEB, but the model has G-XLBB - Do they have monkeys in their QC, Development department? The allocated reg`s have been on the net for ages and could have been checked, also at the top of the tail fin the reg`s are wrong and in the correct positions....check here for photos.....

Or maybe Phoenix can step up and release one?

The final reg sequence was announced by BA at least a year ago. No excuses here...
