Default Fairy Hobby original 1/400 PW4056 correct engine cowl replacement set

Especially designed for Aeroclassics/BigBird 1/400 747-400 series.
Resin casted with no adjustment need, just a quick replacement set for the wrong shaped engine cowls.
Of course you need to paint them yourself but that's quite a simple step for scale modellers.

Already made some resin cast samples and would like to hear your voice.
Any advice is welcome!

That`s great! If you made more engines like RB211 and PW2000 which used on Boeing 757 can bring benefit to more collectors.

Great job.

Exactly what I thought as next step.
Well it's also up to the demand of the market.

In this hobby, it's unlike the scale model aftermarket goods.

Nice! But first i think you must include a tutorial on removing the original diecast cowls!

Those original engine cowls are made by plastic, buddy.
If you check carefull you can even find the harding lines from the steel molds.

Just pull it towards nose direction and you can easily take'em off.
They are usually even not glued, just assembled in.

Have a try yourself.

Just like this.
No tools need but only your fingers.

By the way, as far as I know, there's no engines are made by diecast metal.
Diecast metal have too soft details which obviously not suitable for molding engines.
All of engines on 1/400 airliner models are made by plastic parts.

Just my 2 cents,

Wah I don't dare removing engines. Specially from AC B744 KLM with Swan livery....hahahahaha....anything happened to the model could be very costly.....
