Default Greg's 1:400 collection

First, I'd like to say I'll probably be around here more than W900 from now on. On Wings900, there is a complete lack of interest in classics. I'll post my collection now all at once, then new models as I get them. I photographed the models as I bought them, so the picture quality and size progresses with the date I received them. Enjoy!
(Bear with me, the first pictures aren't very good)

Dreamjets Continental 777-200 "Peter Max"

SuperBus United A320:

Gemini Jets Allegiant MD-82

Gemini Jets Delta 737-700

Gemini Jets Delta A330-300

Gemini Jets Delta 777-200LR (2010 version)

Gemini Jets Delta 747-400

(probably going to sell, now I realize what a boring livery it is.)

Looks like you have a penchant for Continental. Nice pic of the North Central DC-9. One of the finest releases ever made IMHO.

Yes, Continental is my favorite without a doubt. So many more releases I need to get, though. I don't even have any meatballs yet. I agree, the North Central is a gem with the Republic next to it.

Hi Greg - good to see you over here as well as on scale600. Your classics are all fine examples (I think I've got all of them too except the NC DC-9). Nice moderns as well - I'm starting to get more into the mods now I'm running out of US classics to collect.

Thanks Dylan, as you might have noticed, my criteria has been changing. I've sold the Delta A330, and have been trying to sell some of the other moderns I bought months ago. I will keep all of my globes though, and I still need to buy some meatballs, I only have 1, in 1:600. I do like how my criteria is so different from most other 16 year olds on here and especially Wings900. Yes, I'm 16.

Here's some more from the past few weeks:

Jet-X Western DC-10 "The Londoner"

Jet-X PSA MD-80 #2

Jet-X Eastern DC-9

airport1-600...I have a question for you. Can you please let me know the GJ
United B737-900 stock number? What scale is it? If it's 1/400 I don't see it listed anywhere,
even on GJ's website. It should be something like "GJUAL???".

I think that GJ Continental 737-900 might be a sample. Probably the reason why you can't find it anywhere.

Ny newest arrivals from tha Adamjets sale, three firsts for my 1:400 collection. My first Northwest, Pan-Am, and TWA models. And they certainly won't be my last. Luis was an excellent seller and I highly recommend him.

AC TWA 727-200 Twin Globe, my favorite TWA livery, and the most elegant:

PAMC (Aeroclassics) Pan-Am 727-200. I really want more PA's in my collection now, and this is one of my favorite models now as well. The belly is white because of the merger with National. "Clipper Rapid":

SMA Northwest DC-9/30, plan on getting more bowling shoes soon as well, this livery is growing on me and becoming a classic.

The threesome from the sale:

JM: Thanks!

Hey have you also looked at the ATR-42, the props look like they are leaning back towards the wings.

It is difficult to find a perfect propliner in 1:400 scale. Those models have been in the detolf since the day I bought them. This is why I'm against moving parts in this scale; too many imperfections.

airport1-600....WHAT??? What are you talking about? Check out Waffle and
Adamjets and you will find many propliners in 1/400. Have you been to any of them recently? Do you
want Viscounts, Vanguards, DC-6s, DC-3s, Constellations or DeHavilands?

I think you misunderstood. What I was saying is that propliners are more succeptable to imperfections due to the moving propellers.

Greg,
Thanks for the photos of your collection. It's always interesting to see how other collectors piece together their fleets. Building collections right now is the way to go in 1:400. So many releases are going for great prices, so picking up a few at a time is easy to accomplish. Best of luck collecting~
