Yes, very impressive and like me, you are running out of space.
I think that now, I have to do my best to produce some photos of my AF fleet.

One question... In the third picture (AF-021), behind the stand of the A380, there is a 747 with a white tail which I don't know the livery...

Is that an Air France?

An amazing collection. Thanks for sharing it with us. I recently added an Air France Breguet 'Deux Ponts' to my collection, a fascinating aircraft.

I have only one cabinet, very crowded, about 110 models in it.
Three of my recent models are homeless.
I am planning to buy a second cabinet to accomodate my AF fleet.
I'll have to negociate with my wife.

In my opinion, the 737-228 is not that bad, although some of us could disagree.
On the other hand, Hogan produced a B 737-528 with CFM 56 engines, which is very nice.

I'm not sure if you have seen this, but Jonathanpa posted some very detailed photos of his AF 737-200 [ HERE ] a couple of years back. This may help you decide one way or the other.

Just to make things clear.
The 737-228 is a SOCATEC/ Inflight product and the 737-528 is SOCATEC/ Hogan.

Suffice it to say I am envious, and even if we were to move to larger quarters, I really doubt I'll be able to claim a whole room. (It would be nice, though.)

Very nice, and I really like the fact it is so nicely sunlit.

Unfortunately this model seems to be no longer available.
The same can be said about all the Airbus produced by Hogan for SOCATEC.
A 318, 319, 320, 321, 330, 340 were produced in very limited numbers.
I can't understand that.
I note that the A300 B2 Zero G was also produced, but they have some problems to sell it and as a result they offer a discount on it.

There are choices and decisions that I don't understand.

It would be nice to have an AF B 747-100 with the blue cheatline.
Any chance to have this model available one day ?

Jean Pierre.

Impressionnant ! My AF collection looks small now ! And lack of space is an issue for me too. You're lucky to have such space at hand.

It looks like your collection room is on a second floor, otherwise I would suggest extend out the back or sides. Not easily done, in this case.

Of course, you could also nix the chairs and table, and run a second display case down the middle of the room -- like they do in the shops. The double cases on the right in your photos look like they'd be about right. One of the collectors in New York City did this with his dedicated collection room and it looked spectacular.

I do not want to put a display case in the middle of my room. It would be too store.

Nice acquisitions.
For the time being the HM AF DC 4 has not reached my cabinet, so I can't comment on things I haven't seen.

The ATR 42 is a very nice model.
If you come across the AF Fokker 70 released by JC Wings, don't hesitate, registration F-GLIT, almost more detailed than the real thing.

The Herpa Starliner is fine but I prefer the model released by WM.

Yes . . . your room may start to look like a retail store, alright, but if done carefully, it could look outstanding. But I understand . . . if it's not your thing, well -- it's just not your thing.

Nice trio of arrivals, as well. I have that ATR-42 and it was very pricey for what one gets. The Herpa Connie interests me, vaguely, especially with all I hear about WM's woes these days. Total pass on the HM DC-4. Not a fan of HM.

Jean Pierre is correct . . . if you don't already have that AF/Regional F.70 from JC Wings, you should snag one. They are rare now, but I saw one retail yesterday. Not only is it one heavy beast for the size, the detailing IS quite outstanding. But given the amount of AF diecast in that room, I somehow can't imagine you not having it by now.

Why no AOM's in the collection?

If you speak about this version it is effectively a very beautiful model.

They weigh a tonne for such small models, yes?

In your photo, the aircraft is correct, it just is the other regional Air France livery that was not commonly available over here. Below is what I was referring too. I saw one yesterday at retail. Rather rare now.

I think JC Wings did a pretty tight job on this one (and the version you have).

I know it is in stock currently at EZToys. It may also be still available in Europe too.
