Default Boeing B777-200 Vietnam Airlines Hogan

Good evening!

Just finished on painting some details on this nice Hogan jet.
After seeing this bird in FRA, I had to have it. Awesome coloring.

This is my first Hogan jetliner and I have to say, I expected worst!
If Hogan starts adding antennas, painting the wings and adding some more printed details (like the APU), it's going to have me as a regular customer.

Cheers!

Hi

Nice picture but other than the window shades, what else did you do to this model? Sorry for my oversight. DP

Hi Milos

I can't answer that question because I have not seen it in real life. Maybe someone here in VN can help us out... DP

The color is spot on, although I can't name the color (petrol-blueish-green).

I had to paint the APU exhaust on the rear left (it seems, some Hogan do have that printed on), painted the gear silver/grey together with the inside parts of the front gear doors, painted the wings and the horizontal stabilizer grey (they were moulded in a somewhat translucent plastic), colored the exhaust cones and added the two tiny warning lines on the fan hubs.

Cheers!

Hi there,

Because of the lack of details, Hogan models are the cheapest (in price) of all manufacturers. However, many of Hogan offerings have the same level of details if not more than other manufacturers and still sport the same price tag. I only buy Hogans with printed wing details or in liveries that I must have like the VN one. Some Hogan offerings with loads of details include Air France series, Jet Star Airbuses, Qantas A300s, Iberia A300, Delta, Swiss Air MD-11s, to name a few... DP
