Default Full collection pics

Hey DAC friends.
After postponing time and time again, I finally decided to take pics of my collection as it is today.

I currently own 31 models. Still waiting on 8 models, but I'll take pics of those at a later date. I expect 3 of those models to arrive this coming week.
The first 3 pics are of the North American airlines and the last 3 are from other countries around the world.

Enjoy XD

ROFL

And Robertjon....dont keep posting ur KLM pics all over....ur making me look bad with my measly 6 models.
Am awaiting a 7th (KLM 737-300) and 8th (KLM Asia 747) sometime this month I will never get to the magnitute of yur collection though...all I need in diecast now is a KLM MD11 and a 747 (wont buy the Inflight one, already bought KLM asia for a huge amount of money, but thats the first and last time I do something like that seeing as its less probable that any company will ever make another KLM Asia. The regular KLM 747 is more probable to be made in diecast again) If and when that happens I will have 10 KLM models and will stop there....by the way, did u spot yur previously owned ANA dash on my pics again?

thats good...or bad....depends on how much money you have. I started my collection with the USair Dash and Fokker100 on February 2nd 2011 and have collected 31 thus far....I couldve saved that money for a rainy day, but whatever...I LOVE AIRPLANES TOO MUCH!!! Hahhaha

Well mine was also accidental. By pure coincidence I found out that there was an aviation megastore close to Schiphol Airport, so I planned to go one day....that day was February 2nd of this year. I just wanted to look around, maybe buy a plastic model, but nothing really in mind. Then I went and found the Die-cast metal models....especially the ones in the sexy gemini200 boxes caught my eye...I could've gone with the 1/400 scale, but I preferred the bigger 1/200....and so after going back and forth on which models to get, I just fell in love with the USAir models they had and went and got them. After that I almost immediately went on E-bay to find KLM models and the like....and it started snowballing after that. That is how my addiction...erm collecting hobby started

i started off in 1/200. but after amassing about 60 models, i ran out of space in the office! so i switched to 1/400!! i could only get 12 1/200 on a desk, but 40-50 1/400s! had about 150 at one time. then i won my first inflight 747, city of everett, and went back to collecting mostly 1/200 and corgi 1/144s!

Waahhaha well I doubt I'll be diverting to 1/400's. Im trying to keep the collecting focused to only 1/200 in Diecast metal....Otherwise i might as well become homeless and only have my models on the streets next to me Only shame is that I have no way of displaying the models...yet....maybe someday, but for now I will have to keep taking the models out and putting them back in their respective boxes every time I wanna look at them or take pics :P
