Yes, it is in the grey tactical paint scheme. That will go nicely with Herpa's 1/200 B-2

Is the ST Lucia an ex Mearsk?

If someone in the Forrest said the TMA bird was originally a Braniff (N7098), would it still be a Braniff?

Am i the Only one that finds the DC-8 62 series up engines & pylons to be butt-ugly???

Lets compare.... maybe i am at odds here???
The 50 series:

The 62 series .... cigar engines:

And how awesome a 20-30 series DC-8 w/ejector rail pylons would be in 1/200!

Yup!
Those DC-8's are commin in dozens these days. Inflight has quite a few on their schedule too! Just as the vote thread's result's showed on my blog, the DC-8 is the most wanted mould!

Yes, Yes, and Yes. Would be great whomever makes the turbojet version in 200 to either make the ejector rings slide on the rails or depict them "in-flight"...hate those GJ400's, but had to have turbojets...so I bought a few.

I like all DC-8s, even the super 60s. The dihedral on Inflight's "interpretation" is difficult to ignore but I'm hoping to be dazzled by the outstanding application of Braniff livery. Or not.

A well done 1:200 with turbojets and ejector rings? That would be a dream come true but I don't see it happening as long as they can make money with what they've got

IF there was to be a model with articulated rings, they might as well sculpt clamshell intake shrouds for "reverse"!
