Now if Herpa would only do some of those blunt-nosed 240's. So many interesting liveries to choose from too. As it stands, this 340 looks very nice indeed.

Love the dio backdrops as well. (How big are those, if you don't mind me asking?)

Actually Herpa made a Lufthansa Convair 340 model without the radar nose. It is nice but inaccurate because the engine exhaust is for a 440. By the way, Swissair operated the Convair 440 model also known as the Metropolitian.

That is a beauty. Reminds me of the very early qantas colours. I would quite happily add one of those to my collection.

dont mind at all! they are for N gauge train dioramas, so they fit "ok" in these Airport dioramas.This is a large train station, it was in bad shape, as expected, broken bits, glue everywhere...but even though it may not be 100% correct or perfect, these old Faller/Vollmer/Kibri buildings do the part and end up looking quite good as backgrounds, I think

you are too kind, thank You it takes me about 20 minutes to put everything , and I need a calm day, since this is a windy area, as I like doing these outdoors
its a whole afternoon spent for just a few pictures, but its good fun
