Default Emirates A340-500 Arsenal

Been looking for the model for quite some time now, to my surprise...
I received not one... but two Emirates A340-500 (Arsenal Livery) as my birthday present. It came a bit late but i'm not complaining.

Courtesy a Emirates Cabin crew and a Royal Brunei cabin crew for the coordination.

Best birthday gift so far.

Just to share.

Nice model and quite unusual, A340-500 are not many on the market.
Keep them !
Happy Birthday !

Just read this thread and had to reply as same thing happened to me minus the birthday thing. Such a nice model it is I had to buy two...! I just need a Risesoon 1:200 Emirates B772 to complete my fleet. Don't know my chances though ... I have not seen one around at all. Anyone seen one or got one for sale/trade?

Nice looking model.
Saw one of these at the Dnata center a few months ago.But unfortunately they had just one in stock with a snapped off engine and some scratches on the fuselage.
Now only if you could add some Hogan gear to it..

The two I have came in the Emirates "Corporate" styled box (large/flat) with the photo of the jet on the front. The stand looks very Wooster-ish so I assumed these Emirates-exclusive models were made by Wooster (or Risesoon). My two came from an Emirates cabin crew member as well .... I have not seen any around lately ...

The Emirates online store offers this model for sale, $24 plus shipping. They only ship within the UAE. Anyone within the UAE willing to do me a HUGE favor by picking one up and sending it to me?!

Yeah thanks for that info just seen it on there website and how annoying is it that they only ship to UAE, but there is a little note saying they will ship worldwide in the near future, but that could be whenever and knowing my luck it will be sold out as its a limited addition, i also would love someone to buy this model for me and send it to me in the UK please!!!!!....

They will ship worldwide. You just have to email them -- they will then send you a code which will adjust the shipping on the order form. I ordered the A380 that way from them.

If you're in the UK, then there's one on Ebay now
A340 1:200 Emirates livery Arsenal Ed | eBay

Quite interesting as a couple of weeks ago, that same guy listed the model "Buy It Now" at £150. The highest bid ended at £33, and didn't meet the reserved price. This week, the model was listed at £20, and "Buy It Now" at £30 . Curious to see the outcome .

I followed the directions Culture provides above. It worked! My Emirates "Arsenal" A340-500 arrived in good order about a week after purchasing. Great addition to my collection.

Go Gunners!

I cant believe how the Toll Dnata travel center treat their models sometimes. I saw some dodgy stuff there as well as the airport shop.

I sent an email listed on the "Contact" button located at the Emirates Store Site. I mentioned the success an out-of-country patron had, (Australia) in purchasing several of their models. I received a reply within two days that I could make a purchase once I received the proper code. The code with instructions how to navigate the screens came within two more days. I followed the instructions given and received an email confirmation as well as confirmation on the last purchase/consummation screen. My model arrived by FedEx about two weeks later in good order. The model is exquisite!

Good luck to all who want this, or other models listed.

Enjoy the hobby and Go Gunners!

A landing gear set for A 340-500 or 600 is available from Hogan, you should be able to get it from any retailer.

I recently installed a landing gear on a B747, it is not so difficult provided you have the right tools.
Dremel products are very helpful.

Be careful, your model could be tail heavy, in that case you could need to put some weight in the nose.

Jean Pierre.

That's the Flight Miniature Air France B 747-100, very cheap and very accurate livery.

I was so disappointed with the Socatec/Inflight model released without any validation and with glaring mistakes that I had to do something …

Yes, Dremel tools are fantastic.

Absolutely, provided the models are plastic.
On a diecast model it could be a difficult surgery and the model could be too heavy.
