As usual, those exclusives and customs are sooooo hot!
Both EY are just amazing... Moin, do you know if there are any new Etihad models in the works? a 346 wouldn't hurt...

dont think they released it. that should be a custom, you can see the ripples in the paint =)

love the aeroflot! best unexpected release ever by risesoon imo!

moin have you tried obtaining some Xtracolor paint for the etihad? not sure if they have the etihad metallic but if they do it could be very accurate

The A345 will have to wait as I'm in no great rush to do that one. I may not even do it at all. I have a spare AC A345 which I've kept as a parts model so I may consider doing something with it someday. As comparing them side by side with the Herpa 777, there will be obvious differences in the color as I refused to give the 777 model away for color matching.

Hasegawa's are the best. No two ways about it and be prepared to see many more of them in the future.

I'll be willing to sacrifice either RS/SM SA or LH A346 to do a EY custom! Love, love the KLM MD-11

So you want me to do it for you? You would have to send me the model and buy the decals as well and if possible send that nail polish you have with you as well in order to get the color spot on.

A bit late in the day for that now. I have 3 down with maybe 2 more to go. I'm considering using this FM/Lupa A332 I have for the EY Cargo A332F.

KLM is of course, beautiful. Though it looks like the engine nacelles and bottom half of the fuselage are white instead of grey. Sure wish HG would come out with one. (Fat chance, I guess.)

I could easily check them out yes but then explaining (and translating) that to the guy who does the painting for me would take longer than the job itself. I just give him swatches and models I can risk letting go of for a few days and tell him to color match. FM released both the EY A343 and A332 so I lent him one of those models and told him to use the same color.

That is because they are white. The actual color is such a light grey that even the KLM decal sheet states it as 'almost white'. The Risesoon KLM models are also white and the Herpa A330 just a shade darker so I thought to hell with it, I'll keep it white and retain the original Hogan lower fuselage details i.e. cargo doors, ports, handles etc. I can't see why KLM even bothered with that so-called grey and should have just kept it white. The difference is minute.

Unfortunately no KLM from Hogan for the foreseeable future as they don't have the KLM license and KLM is satisfied with whatever models they are having made for themselves in various 'shapes and measures' to quote them. The 772 was a Socatec order.

Yeah, that was one of the first things I noticed about the RS/SM B744. The tail was a bright white, whereas the engine nacelles and belly were an off-white. It is odd that KLM decided to paint their a/c that way.

I didn't realise the HG 772 was a Socatec order.

The decal sheet is $12 but I would need 2 sheets i.e. Etihad A330 $12 and A340-600 doors/windows $6.
