Wow, where did you get this info? Nevermind I found the answer. This are from Rod via 400SH.

Count me in for the KLM (possibly but not 100%) and the UA 757 "Battleship". O' how excited I am for that Battleship.

Indeed. The 300 will be quite substantial.
Although I'm sure it will look very nice, I'm glad I've never ventured to the world of 1/200 due to space restrictions.

Grey UA 757 again? Seriously, people have been asking for DELIVERY COLORS United 757 for like a decade now in 1/400. I was hoping maybe we could get it in 1/200.

I mean, UAL's Saul Bass 757 fleet was twice as large as Eastern's entire 757 fleet was---yet no model of it.

And to counter GJ's usual argument against anything that's "not current" : Hey, by now grey/blue is o/c, and only months away from being oo/c. DELIVERY COLORS is never a minor scheme, especially for such a large operator---it's how the majority of the fleet arrived from the factory.

Really, we need more Saul Bass UA of all styles BTW, not just the 757. Delivery colors!

(I would love some grey 737s though, -200 and -500) 763 and 772, too.

Hey, smart guy. UA 757 (grey) is in 1/200. This hasn’t been done yet. Gotta have the facts in order before you start tossing your stones out there.

G2UAL194 UNITED B737-300 "CURRENT LIVERY"
G2UAL184 UNITED B757-200 "GRAY LIVERY"

These would be the two that would interest me the most probably the 737 more so however I wish the 737 was in the grey colors. I might get these or I might not. Either way im sure they both will be great models.

Expensive month for me, Air Canada, KLM and United.

G2UAL194 UNITED B737-300 "CURRENT LIVERY" - I wonder if this is the United/Continental livery.

United Battleship 757-200 for me! Do you think this model will sell out very quickly? The KLM 773ER is a bit too expensive so I will stick with my Wooster

I'm well aware of that. My point was that it is another diecast UA grey 757. And that we still don't have Saul Bass in any scale. I have seen many requests for Saul Bass 757s over the years, I haven't seen many asking for grey (even before they did grey in 1/400). Thus my comment, "grey again!?".

Thus, we now have the grey scheme in MULTIPLE scales, yet absolutely NONE in Saul Bass. Very lopsided, and ignoring the main/delivery scheme of one of the most important users.

Looks like unanimous support for the KLM 773.
I'm jumping on that bandwagon too.

Considering getting the UA 733 as well.

Expensive month!

While I don't disagree that Saul Bass schemes will be nice when produced (which they are). How do you know "Battleship" schemes are not being requested? There have also been a handful of "Saul" liveries produced by GJ, and therefore making your comment of "NONE" to be erroneous.

Time to strap up again Dave.

Only the UA752 for me!! I really like the KLM livery, but I can´t understand the hype for the 773!!!
The 772 is in my opinion the most beautiful and harmonical plane ever. But the 773 looks just much to long!!

He he exactly the same here, I like 772's far far better then 773's. Great releases though, finds the UA 733 most tempting.

David,
I disagree with you when you say that "that we still don't have Saul Bass in any scale". I have the following UA Saull Bass models in my collection:

In 1/200 scale:
DC10-30 Inflight Models

In 1/400 scale:
B747-100 BigBird
B747SP Gemini Jets
B767-300 Gemini Jets
B727-200 Dragon Wings
B737-200 Aurora400
DC10-30 Dragon Wings
DC8-71 Gemini Jets
DC8-61 Gemini Jets

Although I agree with you that we also need some more 1/200 Saul Bass models like the B757-200, B737-300, B727-200 & B737-200.
Marco.

The 777-300ER only comes with GE engines. For a 777-300 they will need to slightly amend the wings (the raked wingtips) and indeed, different engines.

I am requesting the Battleship scheme... on the 777 which was first delivered to UNITED in that livery!

On the other hand... can anyone estimate the percentage of UNITED 757s and A320s still flying in the Battleship scheme today? I am just curious.

I've ordered the UA 733 and 752. I could also not resist that KLM 773! Damn - an expensive month coming after such a long quiet period for me...

Regarding current battleship gray UA aircraft flying around, I can't estimate a percentage but I see a lot of them here at ORD. We rarely see the 752 with winglets at ORD, but lots of the non-winglet versions are still battleship gray (and looking pretty worn and tired too)... I also watched an A320 in battleship colors landing yesterday.

Thanks for the info! Much appreciated.

I like(d) those "quiet months"... I had several of those in a row now, with an average of one or two models added to my collection... I must say I pretty much enjoyed that period. And my wallet too.

Yes, finally. Hope to see a 737-600 some day. Quite unlikely, I know.

A "baby" -600 would be nice, but I doubt it will enter the range.. Still hoping for a possible
SAS 738 ...

Which makes it "We now have cars by Dodge, Mercedes and Rolls-Royce". All these are "cars" - nevertheless, very different ones. Getting your point, though.

United for me. Now I can get the whole collection just like I did for my American collection. Just missing an A320 in the new colors, 747-400 either colors, and the DC-10 in the Battleship gray. ORD diorama here I come!
