Default for those of you who bought GJs Eastern 722

when you look at this pic... ...and if you look at your model then, couldn't one get the impression, that the front pax door of the GJ200 mould is a little too big/wide compared to that TAP in the pic...?
and doesn't the window in the door has to be placed a little lower (cockpit level)? - a little nitpicking

i guess modifying this issue isn't such a big deal, or what do you think, Rod or Crownvic?

Not a little nitpicking, A LOT OF NITPICKING. Why not compare apples to apples. You don't even use an Eastern 727-200 for comparison. It makes a BIG difference whether an airline places the outline of the door on the fuselage, or on the door itself. Eastern places the mandatory door outline on the fuselage itself. the attached link may help with the light blue color arguement also.

ok, maybe you right. but the door shape doesn#t change.
at least it has to be more narrow. almost as the Emergency exit in front of engines 1 and 3.
and the window inside has to be printed nearly on the level of the upper cockpit window frames.

there are people who nitpick about shades of colors... and i am looking more after other details.

My point exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, you're picture shows the wrong side of the aircraft!! The forward left and right doors are different sizes. The pictures so far have been the left side of the aircraft.

I wasn't responding to the door sizes but the color issue. If there isn't a difference between GJs database model and the A.net photo, one of us is colorblind, who knows maybe its me...

Then grab the model and see for yourself.
The natural metal kick plate at the base of the door makes the door appear taller and thinner than it really is. Look at the door itself.
1. Front door barely wider that the rear galley service door..........check
2. bottom of the door is JUST below the bottom of the cheat line.....check
3. Front door window is just above the the top of the cheat line......check

Model matches the picture that you provided.........CHECK!!!!!!!

The difference is between the Gemini database photo and the actual model. Again, look at the model itself.

The lighter blue on the actual model is a FAIR representation (but not exact) of the "Carribean Blue" the Eastern used on its white fuselaged aircraft.

Look CLOSELY at the pictures that you supplied. The top of the cheat line is at the top of the cockpit windows and the left front door window is above the cheatline. Enough said.

If you don't like the model, that probably won't change, so don't get it. If you already have the model and are unhappy with it, I am sorry for you.

I have the model and I love it. That probably won't change either.
