While Michael may seem blunt through his email, he's just being brutally honest. He has ridiculously fast email turnaround times, and is the most lenient when it comes to pricing (notwithstanding the coupon codes).

I was a bit irked when I got my last plane from him in an open-box state (I assume mine was the display model since the blister pack for the gears was punctured), but since it was all intact and I got a sizable discount on it I'm not complaining.

Michael,

As a retailer, you just shot yourself in the foot. I won't go any further lest I become pissed off.

Yes, shame on you for bringing this old thread to life just for the purpose of maligning your competitors.

Shame on you for the sleazy tactics you employ on other forums, like announcing models for sale which you don't have at unrealistic low giveaway prices, then telling folks to go to reputable dealers and ask for a price match.

Shame on you for using DAC (which you've owned for years) as your tool again those who dare to stand up to you, or disagree with you.

Shame on you for deleting posts which you don't agree with.

Shame on you for undermining the business end of this hobby with your selfish self-centered "giveaways".

I'm so so happy that AeroClassics was at least wise enough to dump your azz as a dealer long ago.

Merry Christmas & Happy New year to all!!

Just because a dealer "gives" product away at below normal prices, it doesn't make them great!

I love a bargain too from time to time, but when a few dealers undermine the business end of any hobby, they are actually contributing to it's demise, not growth.

well the pot is calling the kettle black!!!!

quote1, Shame on you for the sleazy tactics you employ on other forums, like announcing models for sale which you don't have at unrealistic low giveaway prices, then telling folks to go to reputable dealers and ask for a price match.

i have bought several models in waffle's salers and received EVERY ONE!, so, makes nonsense of your 'models you don't have' jibe.

quote2. Shame on you for using DAC (which you've owned for years) as your tool again those who dare to stand up to you, or disagree with you.

you do EXACTLY the same thing on 400sh!!!!!!

quote 3, Shame on you for deleting posts which you don't agree with.

as above, as you have deleted some of mineon 400sh, when i have critisised a/c!!!!!!!!!

quote 4, Shame on you for undermining the business end of this hobby with your selfish self-centered "giveaways".

if michael wants to buy up collections, overstocks, etc and pass on the savings to customers, then good luck to him!!! saves us collectors some hard earned cash! or a chance to buy a model we may have otherwise passed on.

I've been dealing with Michael as JB, Air Paradigm and WaffleCollectibles for almost five years now, and never had a problem from him. He's been my primary source for GJ and sales models, and no cross words. Not saying the same for everyone who's dealt with him, just my experience...and in the end, that's what counts.

Is that making business is all about...competition? I totally disagree if bringing the prices down is undermining under retailers. It is Waffles' business to come up with strategies in order his retailing business to grow. I would say it would benefit the hobby to survive because it is more affordable. There is nothing shameful about Waffles business marketing strategies.
