Default Triple 7s for Gemini in 1:200???

i thought I remembered reading in one of these forums that Gemini Jets is doing a 777 in the 1:200? Anyone know? That'd be sweet!!! These are by far the best most accurate models IMO.

Better to take a long time and get it right than rush it out. But yes, apparently the first one is going to be AA.

If they do come out with the 777 it will surely be my next model, is GJ planning to do any 747's in 1:200?

To my knowledge, Gemini has not formally announced any B777s in 1/200 scale. The only
acknowledgement has been from Crownvic/Russell. Patience in this case is a virtue.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that the 777 is an AA? And the 767 is Hawaiian? While GJ the company has not done the official announcement, I suspect Russell is pretty good on his word.

I agree and that's what Russell said - AA and Hawaiian. I'll get the Hawaiian for sure and will wait on the 777 for Continental and Delta.

I know Russell is true to his word, I was only pointing out that the 777 has not been officially acknowledged. It has a lot of rework that needs to be done.
There is some good stuff coming down the pipe though, you can trust me. My word
is just like Russell's, I'm just not related to them, .
For those of you anxiously awaiting, the next releases should be out next week or so

By the way everyone, lets welcome Garudarod to the Gemini family as he now is an official ADI employee and spokesperson! Congrats to you Rod...

Basically whatever he says is gospel too!

Aww gee Russ, you took the fun out of it. I was hoping to be non-chalant for a while, . I wanted to see if anybody who emailed Gemini put two and two together when they got their reply.
Thank you for the welcome!

AA and CO 777 in standard livery will be good. Please do not start with any special schemes or colors.

I bet they will be normal liveries (at first, at least). Crownvic said a while ago there would not be a Peter Max CO, thank God! I just hope Delta or Continental isn't too far behind the American 777, because I don't want American......although I may crumble just to get a good 777 in my collection.

Can we get any answers as to what engines were molded? Or are we in for more and more "not GE90s" on 777 after 777? Same for "not PW" on the 767...

As GJ had license of AA, CO, UA, Delta, BA, KLM....so i think they will do all this livery on their new mould B772.... But i want to see the AA first as this livery is bare metal which plastic model can't do it. Then the second will be great if its BA or KLM..

I personally think Delta will come before BA or KLM. Delta seems to sell out quickly. I agree about AA - I will not buy any AA models in plastic....really really really lacks realism IMO.

I'm not sure if I got you right, but I do hope and presume that they will have 3 different engines moulded:

- Continental = GE 90's
- Delta = RR Trent
- AA = RR Trent
- British Airways = RR Trent
- United = PW's

In other words I do hope the first AA will have Trent engines..., if not.., well

There are other things you should thank God! There is no law that says you have to buy it. Many of us would!!!
