Default Quality and service of Airline Museum Gift Shop.com

Hi, I was thinking about getting a pack of Herpa figures at airlinemuseum.com, but I've never ordered from there before.

Does anybody have some tips about this please?

They are really good. I've ordered many of my models from them. Shipping is fast, usually processes your order by night if you buy from the morning, arrives in 5 days. On top of that, I find their models relatively cheaper (although shipping is $10).

I've bought a few things from them. I haven't had any issues.

They have good prices, but I turned to Jetwaymodels because of the expensive shipping costs.

Exactly how much do they charge for shipping?

Shipping to US is very reasonable. If you spend $100 with them, shipping is free.

What if you spend something around $14-$20, do they charge by weight or the product cost?

Oops, didn't see that. Well that removes my last questions.

I've bought a lot from them. I disagree about them being fast. It usually takes like 7-10 days and shipping is expensive. My favorites are jetway, adamjets and jetcollector. They are all super super quick on shipping and give good service.

Well, the website has a shipping chart so I guess it depends on which state you live in.

The only time I have had dealings with them, I bought 2 Hogan BA Concordes (G-BOAF and 'G). 'F arrived perfectly well, but 'G was 'special order only'.

Anyway, I waited and waited, until I had to ask them where the heck it was.

Turns out they were not getting that model back in again, so, at this point, I swapped my order for the Inflight 200 of the '733, Baden Baden in '80s Lufthansa livery, reg D - ABHW.

Then they told me that this was out of stock and no more would be coming in again, so, at this point, I cut my losses and got a refund instead.

From 3 possible models, I only got 1.

What I can say is that they were very helpful (the guy I spoke to was called Scott, I think), but a bit more communication as to what models they are getting from distributers would have been more helpful!

By the way, I eventually got round to getting the same IF Lufthansa '733 model from Todd the other day there, so many thanks!

I'm terribly sorry about your injury.

Oh..wait, I meant US State/Province, like Maine or California, not State as in condition.

Again I am terribly sorry for that misunderstanding.

Hope You get better though!

Well, except for Alaska and Hawaii of course, unless 'Canada' and 'Pacific' are medical terms I have never heard of

Yes I'm joking, but I really did do something to my back last night.

If you are really interested in getting an exact shipping quote, just set up as if you were going to purchase the item and proceed to the checkout. There they will give you a shipping quote.

Don't forget that you can get a discount if you add WINGS900 as the discount token.
I'm not sure if they are still offering this discount as I haven't used them for a while.
