Question GJ 757 perfect mould but faulty tampo

Sorry if this has, specifically, been discussed before.

I just bought my last Gemini Jets 200. Delta colors. When I first looked at it it seemed like the most perfect plane out there, but then i noticed this:

Then it raised the question, are all 757 GJ 200 like this or does it only show on the Delta airplanes. Honestly, i haven't had the chance to see other GJ 757s so I don't know.

Since many of you have already bought several copies of the Delta and other liveries, can you please comment on whether this issue has come up on your models?

I checked my BA and Eastern B757s and both cockpit printed perfect.

I only own one GJ200 757 - the EA - and honestly, didn't even check for this flaw.

ouch, that is canted something awful...

if you're interested in fixing it.... sand and paint out the window, and acquire a window/doors detail sheet from draw decal ($5).

Did you check other models. Somehow the others may have had some work to fix any problems. Check with the other 757s.

Yea, it's annoying for sure but it happens more often then realized. I wouldn't fret too much over that one. Display it proudly and you'll eventually not realize that flaw anymore.

Thank you all for your input. I made an even exchange for Gemini's AA 757 with my retailer and now I'm 100% happy with my purchase. On this one, both mould and tampo print are perfect and again I'm happy with Gemini Jets. However, I hope that is just a glitch and not a tendency, as I'm pretty happy with every model I've got from them.

Maybe in the future there will be a re-release and I can get the Delta. in the mean time, I'm eyeing that 737.

In this case you can compare, with this pictures, the print not just on the cockpit but also on the top of the fuselage where you we even have antennas and other small details. However, i remember a talk about the print on the 737s being off centered in this forum. That talk concluded that off centered details such as some of the antennas, beacons and lights were off center because the ribs of the fuselage impeded otherwise.

If you look at pictures of the 737 you can clearly see that so that isn't a major issue to me, but having the cockpit windows (whole cabin by association) be crooked was not acceptable by me. I suppose that because the 757 uses the same fuselage of the 737 the beacons and antennas are just as off the center as the 737.

By the way, that Northwest 757 is sweet. I saw it at my retailers but didn't buy because of lack of funds. You know with this credit crunch and the airline industry in decline ....
