P1010249

And it definitely will complete the JAL Hogan trio out there

P1010245

HG is very good as far as details go but RS is more accurate as far as the 747 nose section goes and if you can detail the models a bit they look even better. As far as the 777's again the RS mould is technically more accurate than HG.

I hear a lot of complaints about the nose section of the HG 747, but I really don't see anything wrong with it....

This has been discussed a number of times...you might recall the "bird beak" of Hogan

I also have the JAL trio. Eventhough spent some time looking for the 743 to complete it, now I just left it as it is...

Agreed on the 773ER, the 744 looks sooooo sharp on that milky white livery. Hey Freak, do you think that the 744 color is just slightly more "creamy" than the 772? maybe is just my models, but I looks like they're not all exactly the same tone

I think the 744 and 773ER are a bit creamier than the 772! Good eye, FAEDC3!! What other trios do you have?

I have a few, perhaps my favorite is KL 772 / 773 / 744... unfortunately I haven't been able to get an asian girls trio, as somebody has... for now, at least...

I have this JAL 744 in a Hasegawa kit, so I think I'll stick to that, if I ever get round to building it.

Well, Mr Freak, your sources have given you some good info !!

I promise you a pic of these soon...

Same as Moin, sometimes I have to have my models shipped to a friends place in the US. currently I have I few waiting for me to pick them up, KL 744 is one of them. I'll include 744 City of Tokio and 744 City of Lima, but that's a whole different trio

I think you can do doubles...777s vs 744s....the 744 City of Tokyo and City of Lima should be interesting. I believe the City of Tokyo is RS/SM and the City of Lima is the HE Premium...would be nice to compare the quality of the two 744s.

Actually City of Tokio is RS 744, City of Lima is Herpa 744, and City of Atlanta is Herpa Premium 744. You're right, it would be nice to compare the 3 of them.... I promise I'll do it as soon as it arrives

My bad, about the HE 744s....Okay so now you got the trio for just the KL 744s!! Don't worry about the 777s we've seen them already!

You're right Moin, but that one I don't have... I don't really collect cargo a/c, lucky for me, because space is already scarse...

There's no KLM Asia models right? in that case, there would be another 744 to have, but I think that is too many of the same livery
