Default Gemini Jets Aeroflot A320 Photos Thread

Here you go folks, it goes great with the
Hogan 767! note: model does not glimmer like the
photos show as it is in the direct sun, sensitive
camera lens picks it up only.

Love it, love it, love it! The livery is striking. If you told me 23 years ago that Aeroflot would be such an attractive airline (and not as militaristic as it used to be), I would have begged to differ. GJ's model looks beautiful and worthy. I am just not sold on 1/200 scale yet.

The Aeroflot 767 and A321 do look great together. By the way, is this HG Aeroflot 767 different from the HE one?

"Hard to see it"
I failed to see if the engines on this A321 model is the Next Gen ones, cause the A321 in real life have those awesome chevrons (CFM56-5B3/P) on the exhaust cones.

I'll wait for Crownvic to confirm this.
Chevrons or not, I'd still buy this A321, although the chevrons would be a big plus in term of the detail.

Here's a closer shot of them.

But the first picture shows only the front aft, can't even see the engine, only a reflection of it on the fuselage..

You mean on this picture ?? You do know what I'm talking about, right ??? Otherwise see post #13

It's very hard to see it because of the wheel just behind it...

But hey, you said it, so I believe you.. Now I'm even more happy now.

You're still hooked on 1:250, aren't ya? (I've seen your posts in the 1:250 section.) 250 is dead; join the 200 train!

I must say though, I might get the 1:250 CO 737-800 from GJ for the heck of it if I can find a cheap one on Ebay.

You've got me pegged, Mike! I started out wanting to collect exclusively in 1:250..then started to dabble a little in 1:400...oh, heck..I may as well face it. I'll eventually get into 1:200 (already have the Herpa B787 in house colors) and EVEN have my eye on some military 1:72 hardware! I am NOT going to get into 1:500 though. I'll probably be in some self-help support group soon..."Hi, my name is Robert, and I am a diecastaholic!"

That's actually a normal turn attitude for the forward gear and is common on all aircraft. It's just not commonly photographed in the turn like in this picture. It's really strange to see it when the nose strut is secured to a tug during ground handling!

I have no doubt its you under all that creme, lol. My question was, out of all of the people in the world clamoring for the Iron Maiden jet, how is it YOU were the one to get it done? but why in 1/500?? surely it would be a hit in 1/400 or god forbid 1/200.

Default Re: Gemini Jets Aeroflot A320 Photos Thread

I think Gemini will release in the forthcoming months
the Aeroflot A319 & A320 Gemini 200 due to the good
selling of the A321. It's a real success.
