Wow, its beautiful, but look at the lack of details. I.E. the wings and doors. Also, notice the stand.

You guys have probably heard it before, but no matter what, undetailed model or not, that Singapore Airlines scheme just makes me happy everytime I see it. Im not singaporean, but there's just something neat about that golden bird (whatever that is)

What's the registration on this model, if any? The cockpit windows and nose don't look like it's a HG model. Also, the logos on the engines shouldn't be there.

SQ hogans are exclusive (such as their a380)...if indeed this is a hogan.

It looks like an exclusive model from the box.

BTW, didn't Jason post pics from the ceremony of SQ's B77W inaugural flight to LAX a few months back? I recall there was a pic of two of this model...not too sure.

It could very well be a HG model but the stand is what makes the whole thing iffy. Also the windowline looks to be a bit on the low side and the cockpit windows questionable.

Either way, its a nice addition to your collection and happy you got it.

From the look of the stand and the packaging, this is a Lupa model.

Look exactly the same to Air Hong Kong A300/ Cathay Pacific Cargo B747-400BCF/Gulf Air A340-300(different to Herpa's one)

This one is not a hogan. Looks more like a Lysia model..
Below is the Hogan version SIA 777-300ER made for Boeing Commercial Aircraft.

Now thats much better. Is that HG version w/o landing gears?

It appears then that the model that SIA gifted to its pax for the LAX flight were by Lysia and not HG.

The RS is still nice and I've no regrets getting it.

Do you guys think the cockpit window of RS 777 is more accurate than HE/HG? Because sometimes i found the nose of the HE/HG 777 a bit strange at some angles.

Do you know if it will have the registration of SIA's first A380? I know I have said in previous threads that I do not want an A380, but I would certainly buy a HG SIA A380.

The SQ A380 is amazing. Only available through the KrisShop? Can you order from them online or is that their duty-free onboard?

I see they have mail order via their website with an order form. They currently show a 200 scale A380 but you can tell it's Risesoon because it has the tripod metal stand just like the RS QR 773ER.

Nope this is the Lupa model, because it's been on here even before Risesoon came out with theirs. This model has been displayed even before the launch of the Singapore Airlines A380-800 inaugural flight.

I'm almost positive that is what I was told on a different thread. I have a Lupa SIA "tropical" 747 and I thought for sure someone told me it's the same as RS. I bought it on eBay and it was advertised as RS, too.

all these companies are getting really confusing. my Beluga was branded Lupa but darn it, i got it direct from risesoon. so there must be some cooperation going on between them two.

Isn't Lupa an European brand, just as Skymarks is American. Maybe Risesoon has to market them under these brands names when selling out of their own country?

Unsure. But I can tell you that my Lupa SIA is in a plain brown cardboard with the cut-out of an airplane on the top of it, just like RS boxes. The only way to identify it as a Lupa is the name is printed on the box end.

In all fairness, if you look at the pic of the box he has shown, there doesn't appear to be any name of the manufacturer visible, at least from the top there and as this was a SIA marketing item, I doubt they would have mentioned the name of the manufacturer.

If you look at the boxes of the HG QR exclusives. Nowhere on those boxes is there any indication that the models were made by HG until you open them up and see the HG logo imprinted on the bottom of the stands and the landing gear packaging. Same with the RS QR 77W. No where is there any mention of RS/SM anywhere. Some of these airlines don't want the manufacturers name displayed anywhere.
