I thought it would have been available by now. They talked about it last year that it was going to be available around the first of the year. Hope it comes soon with no more delays.

A very nicely executed mould ... the 747 only gets sleeker and more graceful as she ages ... can't wait to own this model!

I totally agree! This plane should be around for a while. Who knows maybe if there is more cancellations with the A380 then 747-8 should pickup more orders!

the stand is much like everrise/risesoon/skymarks brand. actually it is dead on theirs.
model does have that characteristic dip of the cockpit nose aree of a hogan/herpa
i bet boeing has a spec for their models, must have that kind of box, must have that kind of stand.

im not paying that price to get it over here in the states!

kaitanium, it seems like this is risesoon product, doesn't it? that stand gives it right away. risesoon's stand is very unique in my opinion. i remember seeing that stand on China Airlines Dreamliner. that box also resembles China Airlines Dreamliner box too! that graphic on outer box too!

man, i would love to get my hands on Risesoon China Airlines Dreamliner B744... with that detailed wing... one of these days... man, that pearl white looking paint, mmmmmmmm.

it may seem like a risesoon but im 95% sure it isnt. droop in cockpit nose, and those very nice engines. the wing root is also hogan unique not risesoon. wheels look like risesoons with the flat silver rim/disc but since i cant tell i think they are the new herpa rubber wheels. and with gear covers, what risesoon has those? i also counted the upper deck windows and the windows before the frontmost door, all the correct amount compared with the hogan shots above.

but then again what do i know, maybe risesoon upped their quality. i know flight miniatures makes boeings current 1:200 models (that dont have risesoon's stand). and that boeing does have their own 787 model with a "risesoon" stand at boeingstore.com. i cant wait for the boeingstore to stock these. they regularly have a 20% coupon!

im waiting for risesoon to stock some other planes before i do an order in april if you want to hop onto my risesoon order for that dreamliner of yours.

The Boeing stores have these models already. Not sure if they are listed on the store's website, but I am sure they have enough stock.

How do you get these 20% coupons for purchasing? Are these 20% good on all items in the Boeing store including their PacMin models? Let us know the details.

Thanks

I have the NH B777-300 (JA752A) and it comes with a wood stand similar to the one in the pic. And yes, it is a Hogan!

It is a Hogan but I wouldn't say it's regular too. To me, the regular Hogan stands are the plastic ones. As far as I know, this wood stand only comes with special releases. If there's an exception, someone please point it out.

The discount is not always 20%. I have seen it at 10% or 15% in the past. Also, it may only apply to certain items only, depending on the discount theme. At least that's what I noticed in the past as I am on their mailing list too.

It's NH not JL. Anyway, the JL Family Jet (Mushi King) is a B777-200.

Well by signing up they sent me a 10% Promotion Code discount. Do the discounts have expirations on them? The 20% Promotion Codes that you guys get, can they be used more than once over and over? On the bikeforums.net, usually when a discount comes out on the online stores, someone will post it and the discounts can be used by everyone. Can these discounts work like this at the Boeingstore?

Very accurate high spec Hogan model - even has the new 777 style windows.

Yes, if you read the promotional e-mails that you receive, there will be a date when the sale ends for that particular sale. However, there will future discounts that will utilise a different code. I am not sure if you can use the code more than once. You may have to call the Boeing store customer service to find out.

For those of you don't care too much about the wooden stand. Standard Hogan Boeing house color 747-8IC and 747-8F will be shipped out soon. The only difference is the standard version comes with the plastic stand. Rest of the details on the models are identical to the Boeing Stores version.

The wooden stand does give the model a better presentation. Buying from Boeing Store directly is probably the best deal. No need to pay mark-up charged by retailers.

I couldn't find the 747-8 in Boeing store. Is it out yet?

Last time I check the Boeing Stores' website, the 1/200 747-8s were not listed. But I am certain the Boeing Stores have them in stock. These models were delivered in January.
