Question What Australian models should we see next?

Hey everyone,

Just wondering what 1:200 scale models we all want to see in the future of various Australian Airlines past and present?

I'll go first.. I would love to see a re-release of Australian Airlines 727-200 and 737-300 models plus the addition of their 737-400 and A300 series aircraft.

I would also love to see an Ansett 737-400 and 767-300 (VH-BZF).

It's great seeing a lot of the old Qantas liveries and aircraft being produced, but looking forward to seeing something different.

Cannot wait for the upcoming Australian (re-launch) 767-300 Inflight200 release.

I'm eagerly awaiting a JC/Fantasy Wings release of a Qantas towbarless tractor for my A380. QF seem to be one of their target brands for GSE, so shouldn't be too long.

Which A380 do you have? 2007 livery or 2015 livery? Hopefully you get what you want soon!

If you mean any of the Australian carriers I would vote for a Qantas 737-800 Yananyi Dreaming! Surprised it hasn't been done, other than the Herpa 1:200 version!

I have the 2015 livery by Gemini, but don't really care which scheme the tractor is in. I'm assuming it will be the latest, but having a mismatched pair actually makes it more realistic! Will also get the new livery Cobus 3000 twin-pack to round out the scene.

Somehow I had failed to check if QF even operated branded supertugs until now, but thankfully they do, and they look pretty sweet.

This is a Douglas-Kalmar TBL 600 and not a Goldhofer, but whatever.

This is what I would like to see done 1/200 . Boeing 727-200 in East West liveries Ansett air freight ,Polynesian, Cook Islands international. Fokker F27 in East west , Ansett , airlines of NSW F28 Ansett , airlines of NSW that’s just some. I’ve actually scale right back on models that I collect now. I’m only collecting Ansett , TAA , East West , Alitalia, Olympic & JAT.

I agree with you here! I love all of the indigenous liveries - and the original 737 artwork livery was one of the best!

I love this! I would love to see more Ansett/TAA/Australian Airlines in general. I really want a Virgin Blue e170 and e190 model. I have all the Virgin Blue and Virgin Australia models, I just need that Virgin Blue e170/190 now. gemini brought out a Virgin Australia e190 and I thought when they did that we might see the e170.
